Removes unbelievable amount of hair., reduces the amount of shedding, very durable, easy to use, comfortable grip, Sturdy

FURminator Large —

I have a Golden Retriever named Burger. He is so very sweet and gentle. His coat is beautiful, but he sheds....a lot!!! We changed his diet a while ago which helps with his shedding, but nevertheless, because of his breed, it was never-ending battle. That is, until I purchased the FURminator Deshedding Tool. The tool thins out the thick undercoat and also removes loose hairs. The first time I used it this tool took off enough fur to coat another dog!!! I could not believe how much fur came off of him even though I would brush him every other day. He did not like to brushed so much, but now he absolutely loves it! When I take the brush out he runs to the back door, goes out and sits right down and waits for me to brush him. We both love this tool! You have to use caution while using this tool and handle it correctly so you don't hurt your pet as it cuts the hair away. It is not to be used when the pets coat is wet, or near sensitive areas. This product is kind of expensive and you must be aware of knockoffs. I purchased mine, which is a large tool, through Amazon for $37.00. It's worth the money spent!

It's a great product...I would also recommend the Furminator Shampoo and Conditioner instead of the brush if your dog doesn't shed that much. Thanks for adding me as a trusted reviewer! I added you too!

Even though my Boxer is short haired he sheds a lot. Sounds like this product would come in handy.

Hi Meri! It works great on small breeds and cats too. Make sure to buy the smaller version. They have different sizes. I have the large size because my little puppy has grown quite big and furry!
