Please be aware that I have consulted with professional groomers, and while this tool is super great for the frustrated pet owner coping with copious amounts of shedding, if you have animals that you are going to show, be most careful, because the tool does damage the coat in subtle ways-a professional groomer and a good conformation judge will be able to spot the breakage and splitting of the coarser outer coat right away and penalize your pet accordingly.
