As a Groomer and slave to two hairy cats, i need the Furminator Shedless tool, i simply love it and use it on my own animals. Every month or so, the rest of the time i brush them at home and it keeps the shedding away.

The tool can be a bit scary to use at first, gotta apply the right kind of pressure and a *philistin* to the art of grooming can potentially hurt the animal if they press too hard while brushing so patience is recommended.

My cats are use to it by now so they don't hate it, cats in general don't like to be groomed (with the sometime exception). Like i said before, technique and patience.

We love the Furminator at our house. Only our shorthaired dog Shelby dislikes it, but she will stand still for it when her flanks offer up gobs of hair. How often do you change the blade? What specific signs do you detect when it needs changing? (Welcome to Viewpoints, by the way.)
