Okay I'll admit that I don't own The FURminator, my dog is way too short haired for it.  However, my sister does and I am totally obsessed with the tool everytime I go to her house.  I'm thinking of working at a groomers or vet office just so I can use The FURminator.  Heck I'll volunteer my time to be able to use this bad boy and with the soft grip handle I could go for hours.

Why the FURminator works so great:  It is a metal comb, yes, but it doesn't actually agitate the dogs skin like other metal brushes, combs, etc.  It works to get all the loose fur picked up and not just the top coat, it really works great on the under coat.  I've noticed my sisters dogs are less lumpy because the undercoat is getting brushed out.  The dogs don't mind this The FURminator at all because it has short teeth close together instead of long teeth spread out that could get stuck in dogs fur and pull and hurt your dog.

I am thinking of purchasing The FURminator and taking it to the shelter with me when I go volunteer so I can brush all the dogs and make them look pretty for adoption.  Or perhaps not.  If I had this I would probably stalk around Paradise looking for dogs to brush.  I'm addicted to The FURminator!

The new kitten is Snickers..."the wild one" lol. Scrappy has so many manners and loves cat nip tea...I figured she is princess Di reborn...she loves to dress up and have a fashion sense lol.

I have a feeling your kitten is named Scrappy for a reason. You pin the kitten down and I'll brush.

I'm on it! With any luck my review will generate me at least 3-5 pets a day to groom. Now, how to pay for the air fare. Hmm.

You pin Scrappy and we will try it out on her...well she does sit better...we will fur sure have to pin the kitten :)

LOL...I don't have a dog, but I think I would really enjoy combing out his fur if I did. It's kind of like when I was a kid and could spend hours combing my doll's hair. :)

I would love to have a playful dog here, these mutts get nasty when you try playing much. Not their fault they were abused by a guy before, so I can't fault them.......;)

You're with me then Patty. We can stalk the streets together with FURminator in hand for long haired dogs.

Of course yes! Uh huh. Well.... he would rather play with my sisters dog than sit still for a grooming.

I saw this on TV and wanted it but I have a short haired dog, dang it!
