The Furminator is worth every penny. I have a Labrador Retriever I use it on every 10 weeks and it works wonders. Not just that I am a professional dog groomer and I love this tool. I can't recommend the treatment enough to clients. Used in conjunction with Furminator Shampoo and Conditioner it is amazing. I have filled tall kitchen garbage bags full of fur off of a single dog. This is a must if you have a dog with an undercoat. I know many of my clients who have German Shepherd Dogs and Chow Chows swear by this as well. You have to use it more frequently at first but as time goes by you need it less and less. A word of caution though I wouldn't use it on a show dog because it might 'damage' the coat so it is not 'show' quality. But as far as a companion pet up keep its fantastic.
