We had our Fuji Finepix J28 for about 6 months when the lens stopped working. It just wouldn't come out of the camera anymore. We submitted it to Fuji for repair, since it was still under warranty. They actually refused to repair it, saying there were "abrasive substances" in the camera. What the heck?? They not only have rude customer service people, but apparently don't honor their warrantys! We replaced it with a Nikon, and we will never buy Fuji again.

I got this digital camera during black friday after having a film based camera for years.  I found the fuji camera and decided to purchase it after reading good reviews on it.  I just needed a camera to take casual pictures, since I am not a professional photographer. I really liked the design of the product which looked very sleek and the navigation was easy to use.  When I took some pictures I was impressed with the quality of the images, since I was still able to see a lot of detail even after zooming in all the way. Videos were also a decent quality, but a bit grainy.  The aspect ratio was only 4:3, but its not like I expected to use a camera for taking videos.  However, I would have liked the Fuji camera to have a better zoom in feature.  Also, you have to play around with the ISOs a bit, since images can sometimes come out grainy with the use of flash. But, for a camera for a novice user this is a good choice.

I got this camera on black friday through amazon.  It was a great price and i am very happy with it.  I have since seen it for even cheaper but am happy with the deal i got since it is such a great camera at such an affordable price.  I strongly recommend this to anyone in the market for a new camera.  I have never really been into photography until i got this camera.  It came with a 2gb sd memory card so i can hold hundreds of high def photos.  Now i enjoy going out and taking pictures of nature, houses and even fences.  It is really user friendly and has a nice large display on the back of it. I usually keep the forced flash on but sometimes that can lead to showing flaws in the picture that are not actually there.  I am thinking about buying one of these for the rest of the family.  At this price everyone should get one of these fuji finpix j28s.  It also came with a very handy carrying case too!

I bought this camera for my husband for Christmas, because he was constantly taking my point and shoot out of my purse and not putting it back.  However, once I received it in the mail, I was tempted to wrap up my old camera and keep this one for myself!  It takes beautiful pictures and the optical zoom is always a nice feature to have on a point and shoot.  There are a lot of modes and they all work well.  There is even an auto-detect mode that works the majority of the time.  I also like that there are many manual features, such as adjusting the ISO.  And it must be fairly durable because he keeps it in his pants pocket with his keys and it still looks and works great.  The panorama feature also works really well (better than my camera at least).  It stitches the image perfectly.  It does have a bit of noise in low light situations, but it seems like most cameras in this class do.  Overall, it's a great camera to keep with you whereever you go.

I bought this before Christmas expecting a very small, easy to use digicam, and I got exactly what I wanted. It is slim and light, so it fits in my pocket nicely, and it was easy enough to use that I haven't done anything with the manuals, but me, my 1st grader, my wife and my mother have all gotten pretty good results with it. No, it isn't an SLR, but it is very good for what it is. I am happy with my purchase and would make it again.   One very good point of this camera is that the flash works, but does not make every photo look overexposed.

Usually I try to do my research before making any large item purchase.  But, only one week away from giving birth to the second son....I had to get another camera.  So, I bought this one because we got a good price on it.  Now I know why.  It is already broken.  It fell out of my hands onto the couch and the display went black, we are now back to the old days when you could not preview your picture.  I would never buy this again.
