FTD Review

FTD let me down twice. The first time May 2007 my mom's birthday.  I had ordered a birthday surprise planter with minature red roses. It was something I thought my mom would really like, she is an avid gardener.  What arrived was the cute planter with african violets ( something you would buy in the grocery store for no more than $ 5.00 )  She immediately called me at work and asked me what I sent her (she knew I would not send her african violets) I called FTD and spoke to someone who assured me african violet were comparable to minature roses. (NOT IN MY BOOK)  Then I asked for a refund, they said ok as long as the local florist who delived them could go back and pick them up. They went back and picked up the crappy african violets. I FELT TERRIBLE FOR MY MOM.

This year I sent her an arrangement of pink roses in a pink vase for mother's day. I sent them early (wed. before mothers day)They arrived from DHL in a cardboard box.  She opened them up and the whitish pink roses were all brown around the edges. I again called FTD they gave me another refund. This time mom got to keep the crappy flowers and vase. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!
