Had to request a 2nd delivery - which was two days late.

My birthday was the day before Mother's Day and my brother decided to kill two birds with one stone by sending me flowers. He selected very attractive, designer specific fresh cut tulips. When I received the delivery, I opened the package immediately. I was greeted with an odd smell. My Tulips were MOLDY! I called FTD and after being on hold for 20 minutes, the customer service representative apologetically informed me that they had sold out of my particular item. She was very helpful and courteous, searching for similar items and finally locating a tulip arrangement that also came with chocolate. BONUS!!! Now I would have chocolate for the birthday and flowers for Monther's day. She stated that my fresh delivery would arrive on Tuesday. Tuesday evening, I arrived home excited to see what the new arrangement would look like. But there was no package on my doorstep. I called customer service again, hoping that the delivery was just delayed and not stolen from my property. I was on hold for less than 3 minutes this time. After listening to my situation, this rep informed me that the first rep had not completed the order, so it was not delivered. On a good note, she stated, they were restocked on the original item, and it would be delivered on Thursday. So today, I am excited to see what my flowers were intended to look like and I rsh home from work. The package is there! I immediately tear the box open and start to prepare my flowers for display. The tulips were tiny - most of the flowers were only an inch tall, with foot-long stems. After cutting the stems, the flower heads barely show over the vase top. Five of the thirty tulips were either smashed or had breaks in the stems less than an inch below the head. I was extremely disappointed with the products.
