I used the online system to order flowers for my mother. I did it only a couple of days before mothers day. The online system worked pretty well for that transaction - except it kept telling me I had the wrong address when the problem was it didn't like some of the characters in the password. I spent about 10 minutes going around and around trying to guess what version of my address they wanted before I decided to try creating a different password. I was disappointed that the service fee was not shown until after I put in my credit card. And it was not a small service fee. My mom loved the flowers and they were delivered early on the day.
But I was also a little disappointed. I tried to send flowers to my mother-in-law. When I put in her zip code, it said it did not have any partners in the area. It would only allow a limited set of choices that had to be express shipped. When I atttempted to use that option, it only took me back to the beginning and would not let me order. We then called the toll-free number, and were told that they could not ship. So I went onto google maps and found a nearby florest to her. It had an online option, so I used that to order. Imagine my surprise when all the online options said 'FTD'!! My M.I.L. got her flowers the day early and was happy with them. But I did not get my rewards and was disappointed by trying to use FTD. But not as disappointed as I was with their competition.
Put me down as planning to use their service again, but feeling wary.
