SinglesNet is one of the new dating services I have found. I focus on the service operating in Florida. And at the beginning I must observe that its price for membership is not as high as other similar dating services. Moreover, despite not using psychological testing methods like EHarmony, one can see and find compatible ladies. Many are attractive. SinglesNet sounds so good.
One shortcoming, which becomes a nuisance is that if a lady looks at a man's profile, she gets informed that he is interested. The guy might have just glanced for a while. But until the system is learned, the previewer is noted that the profilee has some hots.
While most programs can screen and identify by categories such as smoking habits, age, body size and personal interests, SinglesNet says it is not yet ready to offer a list of possible contacts who meet a member's desired criteria.
I am 68. The bulk of the ladies whose profiles I see are 48 or under. I am a nonsmoker. There appears to be more smokers listed on SinglesNet than other sites. And body size preferences are ignored. I specifically state not being physically attracted to women who have "a few extra pounds." Education is also not a screened criteria. Not wanting to sound too fusy, I have found that persons having at least some college often can have more in common with graduates than those who finished high school.
There seem to be a lot of women in the four dating services I have belonged to who are listed on two or more sites. And, some of the pictures of persons shown are dated. Also, over 55% do not show photos. Their interests and hobbies are not as clearly identified vs.JDate, EHarmony and Yahoo Personals. Trying to identify certain persons who meet one's preferred criteria is harder on SinglesNet than JDate or Yahoo Personals.. Yet one has a chance to consider chemistry on SinglesNet, a major flaw I find with EHarmony.
A one month membership costs less than the other dating services. One suggestion is to sign up for a month and then start sending out flirts.messages and emails, while reviewing the posted persons' profiles. If successful one can continue with SinglesNet or find the process of communicating with others off-site easier.
SinglesNet ladies are not as fussy as those listed on JDate. Harley riders, NASCAR buffs and more active outdoorsy types have a better chance of meeting a capable companion on SinglesNet, or at least a short-term date.

In reviewing SinglesNet, JDate and EHarmony, I feel with the limitations and qualifications posted, for price Eharmony is the cheapest but also the most useless. SinglesNet is better even without sophisiticated screening with those capable of attracting romance under age 50 faring better. Having not reviewed Yahoo Personals yet, I rank it between EH & SN. For those who have the money and live in the right places, targeted forums as ChristiansDate or JDate is best. Patience is a virtue with any of these services But one cannot just, for the most part sit back and wait for the flocks. Woody Allen can. Alan Alda can, Jams Garner and Brad Pitts can. One must get out and hustle.
