Good for beginners.
I do like this magazine; however, overall I feel it's best for young people and beginners to the exercise world. Most of the recipes are extremely basic, and while healthy, not that interesting or flavorful. The recipes also use a lot of processed foods. The exercises start to cycle through again and again are often not the most challenging. The good thing is that many exercises can be done with body weight or minimal equipment at home. They do have some good exercises from guest trainers. For example, there was a section on trx, a suspension training band, some with Jillian michaels, etc. They also have videos of exercise series online which I like a lot (the one thing that really sets them apart from other fitness magazines). A big plus for this magazine is that most of the content can be accessed for free on the internet. I also like that they have a lot of before and after stories as I think they are great for motivation. If you are a more serious athlete try women's health or fitnessrx.
