Extreme Makeover Home Edition Reviews

I began watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition way back when the show first started in 2003.  If you are thinking "ekkk... reality TV... no way" then you need to think again!  This is what reality TV should be!  This show is all about helping people in desperate need by providing them with a much needed new house.

The Families
As much as I would want my family or I to get one of these made over houses, I am glad we are not eligible!  The families in these shows all have had major problems, none of which were there own fault.  For example, the show on tonight has a young girl with a disease...

Love Extreme Makeover Home Edition.  The crew really knows what they are doing and have a huge heart for the people they help.  I love to get inspired by their creative ideas.  They bring communities together and help give hope to those who feel they have no hope.   I have attended a benefit by them and even in person they are genuine.   This is a show the whole family can watch.  It inspires you to do more for those that give their all or are struggling with just the things we take for granted in life.  They really ROCK!

I get teased a bit about being in tears before Extreme Makeover Home Edition even starts on Sunday nights here. :)

What a wonderfully uplifting program. If TV-land insists upon feeding viewers reality shows, there really should be more more like this one - proof that people and entities actually truly do still help deserving families continue to better themselves.

Ty Pennington and his team give character and personality to an otherwise well funded corporate marketing stunt. There is no show episode that I don't get teary-eyed watching how these carpenters genuinely connect with the lives of the beneficiaries and their neighbors. Many times over, Ty and his team have truly shown respect for the dignity of human life and have been respectful to the situations by which the grantees were given the second chance for a better life.

The show is popular for people who like that so much like me because I can get some ideas for my future house and yard and decorations that will improve my talent for house style to keep people pleaseure. Also people on the show are good actor/acteress and funny too.

I really enjoy this show. The energy that Ty Pennington has is catchy. The stories told in each show are truely sad but optimistic at the same time. Watching makes me feel more appreciative of my life Watch and feel better

Every time I watch Extreme Makeove Home edition I cry.  It makes me see that there are still some wonderful people in this world.
