You know the saying..."take an aspirin and call me in the morning". This is a common line we hear in the movies.  Thankfully, we get a little more medical attention that what is portrayed in (old) movies!

I take Extra Strength Bayer Aspirin quite often.  I cannot take Tylenol because it contains Acetaminophen.  Acetaminophen reacts a bit differently with my body chemistry.  It keeps me awake and when I do fall asleep I have nightmares.  Sometimes I can stay awake for two to three nights in a row just from taking one dose of Tylenol.  So Tylenol is off of my list of over the counter medications.

Extra Strength Bayer Aspirin contains 500 mg of aspirin.  It works for many different uses including body aches, fever reducer, headaches, back aches, toothaches and more.  Basically, anything you would pop a Tylenol for you can substitute an Extra Strength Bayer Aspirin for.  Each caplet is coated to make swallowing the medication easier and also easier on your stomach.  Stomach pain is the number one complaint that people have about taking aspirin.

Extra Strengh Bayer Aspirin works for me for headaches and minor body aches and pains.  Since I have both Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, I'm always trying to stop the pain without taking prescription medication.

Recommendation

Extra Strength Bayer Aspirin has been on the market for years.  It's safe to use (for most people, but contact your doctor if you have any doubts) and inexpensive.  I have found that Extra Strengh Bayer Aspirin works better than Tylenol in most cases.

Safe for most people, maybe, but in some patients it causes problems that make it patently unsafe. Good review, though.
