I prefer the nonscoopable pine pellets but Equisicat makes a great product and this scoopable type of litter is a great option when trying to steer clear of harmful clay litters. Foes a pretty good job of eliminating odors if you maintain a clean box and clean regularly. It is easy to scoop and easy to clean out the box each week or more of needed. Thisnis a great product. Unlike most other clumping or scoopable litters I didn't have much of a problem with this one caking to the bottom of the litter box or having an increased urine smell after days of use before emptying the box. Price is reasonable and a little goes a lot farther than clay litters. If you use traditional clay litter and are nervous about switching to a healthier and natural litter Exquisicat scoopable is a good place to start. Your cat will be healthier and happier. A common complaint I have seen is problems with odorous control. You need to scoop poop daily with ANY cat litter. Naturals litters may not mask the odors as effecitvely once you're at the point where you should've scooped two days ago. But that's not a bad thing. Your cat doesn't want to go into a box full of poop and urine clumped litter. If you are willing to scoop daily as every cat owner should you wont have any problems with any natural litter.
