Most HelpfulIf you're lucky enough to live in one of the mid-size American cities served by ExpressJet, you can experience a very rare thing among U.S. airlines: a pleasant, hassle-free flying experience. I find a lot to like about ExpressJet: I like their "can do" attitude. I like their modern fleet of very comfortably...

Most HelpfulI recently traveled from AUS (Austin) to Jacksonville (JAX) and Express Jet was one of the ONLY airlines that flew direct without connecting through Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, or Orlando. Besides being a direct flight, I also chose it due to the inexpensive fare and the convenient flight schedules. I had never heard of the airline, and that made me kind of nervous, but it turns out I had nothing to worry about. Check in was a breeze. The flight left on-time, and due to the number of passengers they let you sit wherever you wanted. So I got to stretch out with the whole row to myself. If during...
review »Smaller new airplanes that is willing to communicate with you, problem solve if needed, and actually gives you a real snack. But best of all is the no stop service that will get you to your destination with an airport wait along the way.
Almost hate to let the public know about this airline, because right now it's a real find with competitive pricing and one way fares that can't be beat.
After reading a recent review on American Airlines, I asked myself is there any airline which would rate 5 stars from my experience. Some trips I have had on Swiss Air would be close, but the flight was pretty expensive. The only airline that I was particularly impressed with the cost, service, amenities, and flight every time has been Express Jet.
I am an frequent occasional business traveler but not with such frequency that I have lots of status. Every so often I get status on American Airlines or Delta which means I flew 25k miles on their airline in a year. I have been on many of the...
review »My son returned home from Iraq about 10 days before Thanksgiving after 18 months. We wanted to visit him and meet my 7 month old grandson. The airline prices were quite high, and I noticed Express Jet was a little cheaper and flew out of Kansas City and went to Raleigh/Durham, NC. I was quite apprehensive as I had never heard of them before. I always flew the "big jets".......so I decided to try it. I am so impressed with them, if I fly again you better believe I will try them first.
As soon as we boarded the stewardess stated that she would be serving breakfast (7:30) we had bagels with...
review »Maybe we were slightly delayed or something but we had free beer and wine on our flight. The staff was also extremely friendly, and very sweet to my stepdaughter. For a budget airline ExpressJet was the best I had ever used.
Are you tired of being moo cows to be shoved through chutes by rude gate agents at airports? Do you yearn for the days when the words "customer service" actually meant just that? Well, there is an answer: Fly ExpressJet. I am not connected to the airline in any way. I'm just a customer who, after putting her child on a flight as an unaccompanied minor, marveled at the treatment we received. The employees were kind, courteous, professional, efficient, and made my son feel at ease with their sense of humor. There must be a secret employee pool out there that ExpressJet hires out of, because we have...
review »Pros:
Excellent communication, free meal and non-alcoholic beverage on board if the flight is over an hour, reasonably priced drinks (beer and wine), great service, plenty of leg room for economy
Cons:
No frequent flyer miles program anymore, limited flights
Summary: If you don't mind that you won't get frequent flyer miles and that there are limited times when you can fly, then I would highly recommend ExpressJet
