Exersaucer Delux Active Learning Center Review

My mother-in-law purchased this ExerSaucer Delux Active Learning Center by Evenflo for my son when he was about 7 months old.  This learning center was a Godsend!  My son was approaching the crawling stage and was getting into everything all over the house.  We were so happy to finally have something that contained him safely and gave him activities to keep him satisfied.

The Exersaucer 

According to the manufacturer, the Evenflo ExerSaucer Delux exercises your child's body and mind. Age-appropriate toys hold baby's interest. Helps achieve developmental milestones. Baby can rock, bounce, spin, stand or sit. For infants 4 months to walking age.

This product features seven age-appropriate toys which provide a variety of functions, there is a tray which brings toys closer, a three-position height adjustment which allows it to grow with your child, the seat locks in six different positions to provide additional stability,  the pad is removable so that it can be washed and there are three flip-down feet for stationary position provide additional stability for younger babies until ready to rock.

My Experience

My son immediately loved this exersaucer from the moment we placed him in it.  He first checked out all the toys and that kept him busy for quite some time.  He then realized that he was able to do some spinning and rocking which made him giggle.  The freedom of being able to sit or stand was one that he liked very much.  Last but not least, he discovered that he could bounce in this exersaucer.  He bounced like mad and, I have to tell you, when he was bouncing, it was very loud!  The toys clanged and the exersaucer itself was just a pounding away.  This really is the only negative aspect to this product that I can find other than the trouble I had storing it away when not in use.  We had this product for about six years since it went through both of my boys and finally sold it at a garage sale for a very good price.  It was still in good shape except for some wear at the bottom of the toy from all the bouncing.

My Final Viewpoint 

The ExerSaucer Delux Active Learning Center by Evenflo is not only an attention getting toy but it is also very educational and can assist with fine motor skills.  I recommend this product and believe that it deserves a 4 star rating.  I would have went with 5 but the loudness of the bouncing action and the difficulty in storage causes me to remove one star.
