I have suffered chronic debilitating migraines for over a year now, so I've experienced high levels of pain and tried almost every remedy out there. Excedrin is a good product for minor headaches or for helping to prevent a migraine if taken very early on - so long as the person experiencing the headache is well hydrated. One of the downsides is that the aspirin in it tends to be harsh on the stomach which isn't a good thing considering the nausea that comes with migraines. I've found that a better use for this product is for general aches and pains. The combination of two painkillers and caffeine to help get fresh blood to achy areas faster makes it extremely effective for this purpose. I would recommend it to others for general aches and pains, but I would tell frequent migraine sufferers to see their doctor about preventative options as well as advice on how to abort a migraine at its onset. However, it is a very good option for people who suffer ocassional headaches that aren't migraines or cluster headaches.
