Everyday Minerals Foundation/Blush Review

Aside from the terrific way in which this product goes on and works into the skin, there is the potential for so much fun in mixing and creating your own customized colors.

I initially purchased this makeup with some degree of wariness...the reasonable price made me juuuuuust a bit suspicious that I might be buying an over-hyped product. The bottom line is that, once received, I am hooked. Not to disparage competing makeup lines, but Everyday Minerals has every other company that comes to mind beat hands-down, in terms of price, color, ease of application, and how it looks on the face. There is an outstanding range of tones and colors from which to choose, and lest anyone be overwhelmed by this, let me assure that you simply can't go wrong when choosing a color ( common sense prevailing, of course; I wouldn't expect that choosing a tone at the opposite spectrum of your own skin tone would provide particularly gratifying results...but I wouldn't be surprised if it did!).

 I chose a small "regular" size of a foundation that I hoped would closely match my skin tone, as well as a set of sample sizes of colors both up and down the color scale. What I found is that they have ALL very flatteringly blended into my skin. Thus far, I quite literally can do no wrong with this product. The blushes are quite pigmented, and in a dizzying array of colors, but with a light hand ( which is desirable, as in any makeup application) these have also proven to be mistake-proof. I also took advantage of the company's low-priced set of samples in order to assure myself of a perect match. Though marketed as sample-sized, these samples ( you choose 3 foundation colors, and 2 blush colors, if I recall) are really quite generous, in actual use, and each will provide many uses. I have had great success in blending colors to create my own perfect color. You can even purchase additional small containers in which you can blend and store your own formulations.

 If you are searching for a makeup that will deliver a perfect-skin, no makeup look, you will stop looking after using this makeup.
