Everybody Loves Raymond Review Summary

Who doesn't know about Everybody Loves Raymond, the wildly popular sitcom staring Ray Romano that ran on CBS for nine seasons from 1996 to 2005? Based on the comedy and experiences of Ray Romano, Everybody Loves Raymond is the story the Barone family, complete with wife, kids, and the annoying parents who live next door and so feel free to barge in at any time. Ray also has a brother who is outwardly supportive, but secretly hopes he fall flat on his face because he percives his parents think of Ray as their favorite son. The show was popular because the dysfunction is relatable to many a family. The general feeling about the show is summed up by statements like "The story lines are so funny and the characters in the show seem real" and "It takes a lot for me to laugh, but this is a great show with lots of comedy that any viewer can relate too." Everybody Love Raymond is available in reruns and on DVD.

Everybody Loves Raymond may not be new anymore, but they still show enough reruns to keep me laughing!  Everybody Loves Raymond is about... Raymond.  He's got a wife, 3 kids, and a brother, but the real story surrounds the parents, particularly the mother.  Marie is the best Mother In Law ever!  Of course, that means she's funny, but I wouldn't want her as my MIL :)  Marie thinks she is always keeping the family together by making her "suggestions" and coming over to clean Raymond's house and making little comments to "help" his wife.

It doesn't help that Raymond is quite a momma's boy. ...

I only found this show once it hit syndication, but I am so glad that I did.  The story lines are so funny and the characters in the show seem real.  I am definitely hooked now.  I only watch tv for about an hour a night and this is one show that I am very reluctant to miss.

I never watched this show when it originally aired, but I love the reruns.  This comedy stars Ray Romano who plays a family dad with a wife, kids and meddling inlaws.  The show will make you laugh out loud.  I love the comedy and everyday life drama.  Patricia Heaton plays a great supporting role as the wife of Ray, and you almost find yourself rooting for Ray when he makes the biggest mistakes.  He tries to be the best dad and husband,  but sometimes his intentions just backfire into comedic situations.  Ray's stress is further enhanced with his inlaws who not only always think he is wrong,... review »

I only recentedly started watching Everybody Loves Raymond.  My 86 year old father who moved in with us this summer never misses a rerun if possible and even my 4 year old likes it.  She will remind her grandpa if she sees it on and he is not in the room.  So many of the story lines hit home and we all laugh out loud even if we have seen the episode over and over.  I don't like the profanity, but compared to most of the shows out there, it is still mild.  It's too bad they don't make shows like this anymore.

My famiily loves Everybody Loves Raymond. This is my family-scary! Every time we watch, it reminds me of my mother-in-law.
The show is so funny that I am in tears. The only criticism is that the children seem to be an afterthought...We watch all of the reruns on tv, but can watch whenever we want now that we have them on DVD.

I am so sad this show went off the air! It was hilarious. The mom and dad were the funniest. I felt sorry for Robert at times, but laughed at the jokes made about him too. I am glad I don't have a mother-in-law like Marie, I don't think we could live in the same state! Thank God for re-runs.

I was hooked after the first show. I can't get enough. Every character in this comedy is so funny in their own way. I love how the show took everyday people (husbands, wives, mother-in-laws, father-in-laws) and exagerate their faults and strenghths and turn them into something hilarious.

My wife watches this show while doing dishes!  I can not get past the nutty canned noise called laughter.  The show might have something but not until you delete this noisy background noise called laughter.
