this product doesnt do what it claims

These green bags are the best. I love them for keeping fruits and vegies fresher longer than in regular zip type bags. They come in different sizes as well. I keep all my fruits and vegies in them and just keep them in the bins in the refrigerator. The one thing I don't care for is the little pleats at the bottom of the bags. I bought these a few months back and had seen them on info commercials and thought ya right, another waste of my money. How wrong I was. They really do work and keep your fruits and vegetables fresh and you can use them in the refrigerator or on the counter. They are resuable, just give them a wash and air dry them and resue. These bags are the greatest thing I have found recently to help keep food fresh! I love fresh fruit and vegetables, but being a busy mom of four, I cannot always take the time to cook them every night, so I used to have a lot of spoilage. Then I found these bags and decided to try them. I have had fresh green beans in one for two weeks and they were still as fresh as the day I had bought them. I was very doubtful when I first got 'green bags' since we live in southern Arizona, hot and dry. But they have worked out wonderfully. I go to a Farmers Market and as soon as I get home, wash and dry my produce, in they go into the green bags. My son, when visiting, used to throw away my lettuce that had any brown on it but now I keep him and the rest of the family happy with beautiful lettuce. What a find! I didn't fine that the Evert Fresh Green Bags worked as well as they expressed on TV but they were still GREAT!!!! It helped me stretch my fruits and vegetables so much. I try, especially now with gas prices being so high, not to have to drive to town very often. These little bags helped a lot. So not only did they help me by keeping my fruits and vegetables fresher but they saved me the time I would spend making a trip to the store and several gallons of gas.
