I read the previous review and can agree that the way this laptop is packaged, it is not perfect. However, with a quick memory upgrade and a little tweeking it is fabulous for the money. I knew when I chose it that it didn't have enough memory to do what I wanted it to so I never actually used it with the amount of memory that came in it. I also never used it with Vista on it....too many problems too much hassle. I run Xp and have added memory and all is great. I paid $300 for it and after 6 months of ownership, I feel that I have already gotten that out of it. I was without a laptop for some time and it's amazing how much more you accomplish when the computer can come with you! Anyway, all and all this is a great buy though it may be as great for someone who can't upgrade on their own...if you have to pay for these things, you may want to consider something that already has exactly what you need.
