I love Evenflo Triumph DLX, it is safe, comfortable and simple.

The Evenflo Triumph DLX is a great product.  It is very comfortable for my little boy, and it is easy to for Mom and Dad to use.  The harness adjusts to fit our son as he grows, and the fabric has not faded and doesn't even look worn.  It also cleans up very nicely when my baby makes a mess in it.  He always looks comfortable and takes naps in it almost every time we go somewhere.  I also love the tilt feature.  I am able to sit my baby up or lean him back so he is comfortable. The seat is easy to buckle in to my car and stays very secure.  The only negative thing I would have to say about it, is that it is bulky and hard to put in and take out of your car, but that would not deter me from purchasing the product again.  I love it!

This product grows with my son, I love it!

I absolutely love the Evenflo Triumph Deluxe car seat. I began using it when my son was six months old. I began using it as a rear facing car seat and once he turned one year old I turned it around and began using it as a forward facing car seat. No matter his size, it is always the perfect fit for him. The five point harness is very sturdy and extremely easy to adjust. It buckles into my vehicle very securily. My son seems to be very comfortable in this seat and I am very happy and delighted that I can continue to use the same car seat until he is old enough and big enough to move on to a booster seat. I purchased the evenflo car seat at my local babies r us and i could not have been happier with the service i recieved. I felt that the price was very reasonable for such a high quality item. Afterall, my sons life depends on the safety of that car seat! I highly recommend this product to anyone with a small child!

Overall it's great, but it could use some improvements.

I got this car seat because a friend with 5 children recommended it. Overall I love the seat. The straps are easy to adjust, you don't have to remove any thing to move them up or down and there is a dial on the side to tighten and loosen them. It does have a headrest, but I feel lit lacks some padding in the head section. My childs head flops all over the place when he falls asleep and he is almost 2, so he has control. Other carseats have padding up top that prevents this.  I would say if you are looking for a good seat for extended rear facing and to get your child to a booster this is a good buy.

Safe and durable carseat that out ranks the rest !

When I was pregnant with my first child I researched carseats for months on end looking for the best one for my buck. Every time I typed in what I was looking for the Evenflo Triumph Advance would come up so I wound up getting it! It has everything I was looking for plus more! My main goal was to find a seat that would allow me to extend rear face which this one does. It goes up to 35 pounds rear facing which is great and it goes up to 50 pounds forward facing so it will last me a pretty long time both rear and forward facing. Other features that I love: - There are adjustable sliding straps which means no more removing the straps to re-thread them!  The only downside to this is sometimes the straps slide down on their own but they are easy enough to slide back up. - The padding is super thick so it makes for a comfy ride. - There is a shock absorber which is a bonus for safety. This carseat is definitely worth buying! The price point, safety features, and durability all are top of the line. I would definitely recommend it and have one for both of my children in both of our family vehicles!

The Evenflo Triumph is the way to go

I love my Evenflo Triumph Deluxe car seat that we purchased for my one year old daughter. We were ready to get her out of her infant carrier and we had probably 4 other parents recommend the Triumph to us. The safety ratings were great on this model and compared to most of the other car seats out at the time it actually had some padding so my daughter wouldn't be sitting on a big plastic or styrofoam seat. It has a great feature for tightening the straps. I don't have to worry about trying to pull the strap between her legs to try to get it as tight as can be as in most car seats. This seat has a great turn knob on the side that makes it super easy to make sure the straps are tight enough. Plus the knob is on both sides so it doesn't matter which side I put her in on, the knob is always right there and easy to get to. My only complaint about this knob is the release feature. It seems as if sometimes it gets stuck a bit and is difficult to press to release. I have figured out how to get around this and make it work, but it was a bit frustrating at first when I was trying to get her out and couldn't release the straps fast enough. The feature that put us over the edge to buy the seat was the ease of adjustment with the shoulder straps. With others you have to take the straps out and adjust the height, but with these you pull them up or push them down (it really is as easy as that) and you can do it right when they are in the seat. So when she has a coat on in the morning I adjust them up and when it is nice and doesn't need a coat in the afternoon, I adjust them down. It makes for a better fit with the straps and seems much safer to me. It also has a great recline feature that I can use if she is falling asleep to make her more comfortable. I would really recommend this to anyone that is looking for the next car seat for their 1+ child.

Like a comfy chair for your child to ride in in the car!

I really like how luxurious and expensive this seat looks, but really is a mid-range one. The safety reviews were in the top 5 and I've received lots of compliments on it. The only thing I don't like about it is adjusting the straps on it. It's a little more difficult than most seats (it's hard to explain it).

This is the BEST car seat EVER!

I have 3 of these car seats. I originally only bought one but when I saw how easy it was to adjust and how much my son LOVED it I bought one for every car. The straps adjust with the turn of a knob! The only disadvantage to this seat is it is bulky, it is not very heavy though. My son trys to undo the buckles so he can crawl out but he cant as with other car seats he can very easily. I highly reccomend this car seat to every one that is looking for a car seat. It is a very safe car seat and comfy for your baby or toddler.

Safe but hard to clean

This seat has gotten great safety reviews, and that is the most important thing.  It is expensive, but half the price of the Britax.  The big problem is that I had no idea that the cover didn't easily come off for washing.  Kids get things all over their seats.  The cover should be washed often.  We have to unscrew all of the screws and take the seat apart in order to get the cover off.  Also, the straps don't even come off so they can't be thrown in the wash.  Mine will have peanut butter stains forever because I could only sponge off so much.  I wouldn't have allowed the food in the car had I known, but I thought, "no big deal; we'll just throw it in the wash."It did take a few months for me to get the hang of the adjustments, but now that I know how to do that, it is a snap. It's a great seat for safety, but I would only recommend it if you tend to have a cleaner car than me, or a less busy life so you aren't eating snacks in the car.  I wouldn't buy it again; there are other seats that are just as safe that I can keep clean. Before I had to clean the seat, I WAS recommending it to friends.

Love this carseat

My son was 9lbs 6ounces when he was born and at about 7 months he started breaking my back having me carry him in the toddler carrier. We decided to go with the evenflo convertible car seat soon thereafter. I had been reading reviews, etc to try and figure out the best car seat for our situation. I loved the reviews for Britax, however Evenflo was getting the same type of reviews so I looked into that and the cost difference was extreme. We purchased this and absolutely love it. The straps adjust amazingly and easily and my son has plenty of room to move in it. We also love the fact that it has turn buttons for adjusting. I am not that great with adjusting the car seat everytime he wears a heavier coat, lighter coat, etc, but this makes it extremely easy so I don't mind. It's also very easy to clean as I just stick my vaccuum cleaner hose in each of the grooves and it cleans really easy. I highly recommend this seat. My son is 2 years old now and we love it!

LOVE!

We got this carseat for our daughter after she outgrew her infant carrier.  She was in this rear-facing until she was almost two and then forward facing afterwards.  I love the harness system on this carseat.  It is extremely easy to loosen and tighten (it can be done with one hand, from the front seat if need be).  I had read about the importance of making sure the harness is tight enough, especially when wearing bulky winter coats, and loved the Evenflo system.  Each time you tighten the harness, it clicks so you know it is tightening.  The only con in our household is that our daughter has always been at the top of the growth curve and is rapidly outgrowing it.  We moved this carseat into my husbands car (she's rarely in his car) because the limit is 40 lbs and she is 39, so another expensive seat is in our future.  I would highly recommend this carseat to anyone switching out of the infant carrier!
