I received an Evenflo Triumph Advance carseat to review for an online website and have been using it for the past week.

Cosmetics - Cosmetically this seat is appealing to parents who want a seat that will blend in with their vehicle's interior. No fun patterns or prints like Britax, but there are several...

This seat has gotten great safety reviews, and that is the most important thing.  It is expensive, but half the price of the Britax.  The big problem is that I had no idea that the cover didn't easily come off for washing.  Kids get things all over their seats.  The cover should be washed often. ... review »

I just had my first baby in March of 2008 and to be honest with you in all the "baby registry frenzy" I did not register for a convertible car seat thinking that I had a few months to wait.  Boy was I wrong.  I gave birth to a healthy and BIG baby who outgrew his infant carrier in 5 months.  So what did I do?  Sat at my laptop and researched, spoke to other moms, checked out reviews of all the seats out there - and let me tell you there are lots.  All the "big box baby stores" were steering me towards this one expensive brand - now granted I will NOT take safety lightly and am willing to...

We purchased the Evenflo Triumph Advance Deluxe Convertible Car Seat for my son when he was about 9 months old and still rear facing. The retail price on it is $159.99 at Babies R Us. Right away I loved the color of this car seat (sandbox)-nice light color for people who have to worry about living in the heat and don't want a dark fabric. My son sat comfortably in it (rear facing at the time) and it is very easy to use. When you are used to using an infant seat with the carseat base, the convertible carseats can become a pain to install in and out of vehicles. While it is still easy enough we...

When I heard my friends raving about this seat, I just knew that I had to get one too. I love how my son can continue to ride rear-facing until he actually hits 30lbs, which we all know is so much safer than just switching to forward facing at one year. Since this car seat has some of the highest shoulder slots on the market for convertible seats, it is estimated to last until my child is FIVE OR SIX YEARS OLD at which point he can go directly into a booster. You just can't beat that for the price.

My nine month old son absolutely loves this seat. The recline is just high enough for him to not...

My wife and I just brought home our baby daughter, Yana, and I really got a lot of compliments on our new carseat. Besides that, our daughter really seemed to find comfort in it. The removable "skin" is really soothing to feel and the adjustment knob is really a cool feature that intuitively works to snuggly and securely hold onto the baby. The only negative is the size of this item for the newborn but this is only with its initial usage. You will really appreciate this carseat in the coming years, not needing to spend another hundred dollars on another carseat. You wish all items could do that... review »

We've had this seat since 2005.  Registered for it when I was pregnant b/c of the glowing Consumer Reports Reviews.  We have this in my husband's car where it pretty much gets weekend use, as I have her in my car in a Britax Marathon during the week.

I'm sure it is a very safe seat.  It crash tested very well in CR's reports at the time we bought it.  BUT, I have always found it frustrating to deal with adjusting the straps.  Mind you, my husband likes it just fine.  But I have issues with weak, stiff hands and fingers and sometimes I have a heck of a time holding the lever down while turning...

I love my Evenflo Triumph Deluxe car seat that we purchased for my one year old daughter. We were ready to get her out of her infant carrier and we had probably 4 other parents recommend the Triumph to us. The safety ratings were great on this model and compared to most of the other car seats out at the time it actually had some padding so my daughter wouldn't be sitting on a big plastic or styrofoam seat. It has a great feature for tightening the straps. I don't have to worry about trying to pull the strap between her legs to try to get it as tight as can be as in most car seats. This seat... review »

We bought this car seat after much review both online and in stores.  This car seat has been rated very well by both consumers and safety testing and that was important to us.  It seems that there isn't a perfect car seat out there so we were looking for something that was easy to use and had high safety ratings.  This car seat was easy to use and rated well for safety.  My only complaint after having this car seat for two months is that the straps twist around within the clip.  Its kind of hard to explain.  Others had also left this same complaint/comment but I didn't completely understand... review »

My daughter loves her carseat. We first got the Triumph DLX when she turned 1 and she loves to use her car seat. She will even crawl into it when we have it just sitting in the living room. We travel a lot and this seat has soft, cushioned fabric and can recline without having to unbuckle your child. (It does take some maneuvering, though!)

It is very easy to adjust the straps as your child grows and to tighten/loosen them after they are buckled in.

I did find it a pain to have to take out a lot of screws just so I could get the cover off to wash it. It became quite a project.

I do like that it...

I am a first time mother of twins trying to get by as best as we can.  But when it comes to a carseat, I took my time to find the right fit for our family and our car.  We have a Toyota Highlander and a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the car seats work in both of those cars.  Being that both my husband and I work and share driving responsiblity, we needed to purchase 4 car seats, so value was of the utmost importance.  Our twins were about 6 months old when they were big enough to move from the infant carrier to the convertable seats.  They were a little small when we first started using them,...

We decided on this car seat after reading a lot of reviews and looking at Consumer reports, etc.  Our ultimate decision was between this one and the Britax roundabout, and we went with the Evenflo based on price.  We figured if it didn't work well, we could always get the Roundabout later.

We don't regret our decision at all!   This car seat lives up to all its promises, and we could not ask for more.

The best feature is the fact that it automatically adjusts, so we don't ever have to rethread the straps.  This was an amazing convenience for us since our baby zoomed up from being a little preemie...

I looked at quite a few seats before settling on this one. I chose it because it felt the most comfortable. The memory foam felt very soft even though it's sitting on hard plastic. I like the little compartments on the sides; great for storing pacifiers, snacks, and small toys. It is very adjustable, which is good because my daughter is growing like a weed. The fastener around the legs took some getting used too. Now I make sure my daughter is sitting up straight before I buckle her in (so I don't pinch her legs).
The color is nice and neutral and the fabric feels durable. I've been using...

My daughter bought this seat for my granddaughter who is just a year old.

Recently they were in an accident; they were run off the road into a ditch. The car was shaken so much it literally fell apart.  The drive shaft even broke y'all.  My granddaughter was safe in this seat though.  The doctor's at the ER checked her out; her own doctor checked her out and this seat kept my granddaughter safe.  She thought it was all a game and was laughing when they finally stopped.

Maybe any car seat would do this, but the Evenflo is the one she was in.

The seat wasn't real expensive and it's easy to install...

I did a LOT of research about convertible car seats, and HOURS of comparison shopping before settling on the Evenflo Triumph Advanced DLX, because it was recommended on our local news show as a reliable seat without breaking the bank. It is an absolutely fabulous seat--middle of the road in terms of pricing, but it is so well-reviewed, user-friendly, and comfy for our toddler on long trips, I really can't see the need for anyone ever to spend more money on a car seat. When it was time to get a second seat for daddy's car, we went straight to looking at Evenflo, for all the same reasons. I never... review »
