We bought the Evenflo Triumph because we wanted to have one car seat for our son. We ended up buying another for his first year because this one didn't detach from the base as a carrier. Plus, it was pretty big for bringing a newborn home from the hospital. As he's gotten bigger, it's been better and better to use! He is so comfortable in it! It's a little big for our car and that worries me when we'll have to move it to behind a seat to add another for the next kiddo. It wobbles a bit, but I think that's because my car has a hump in the middle of the back seat and I can't get a flat base for it. It installed easily and it's easy for my husband to move it between cars if we need to. The straps feel secure, but they're a bit high on the shoulders. My son gets a pretty good crick in his neck when he falls asleep in it on a road trip. It came with velcro backed pads for the straps, but they've been lost long ago, same with the cup holder. We ended up taking all the seat padding out because it was hot for my son. I still can't get the crushed Cheerios out of the creases and crevices.
