we just bought this seat over the weekend.  our son who is 6 mos. is a big baby and we needed to upgrade our seat.  he is still rear facing and so far so good!  I can't speak to installing it, how easy or hard but it fits great in my small car, which is a civic :)  we are thinking about buying another one so we don't have to keep taking them out of each car!
