It was a bit difficult to get secure and then also difficult to get loose when it was time to move. Durability My 1 1/2 year old broke the 3 of these gates by pushing and pulling on them while they were secure in the door frame. Ease of Use multiple people that I know had trouble getting the gate secure without feeling like they might break it at any time Safety my 1 1/2 year old broke the gate and was able to knock it down

Do not buy this gate. I bought this because it was not as pricey as some of the other gates I was looking at. I should of known the cheapest is 90% of the time not always the best option to go with but I did anyway. The safety of your child is something every parent wants and the idea of a baby gate is suppose to help ease your mind. My son started walking and discovered this gate. He walked right in to and and try to stand on the side like a normal baby would. Next thing I know both the gate and my child are laying on the floor. So I think okay I installed it wrong. I install it again give it a tag and not even 2 days later both the gate and my son are back on the ground. You would think they would try them out a little better! Durability Children can easily fall on them if pressing on or against them Safety Not safe at all I rather not have the gate then leave it up. My son had more accidents with the gate. I keep the gate up because of the tile in our mud room. He never fell on the tile but the gate was like a death trap to him.

This Evenflo simple fit pressure gate did not work for longer than 2 months. This was used to block off our kitchen, because my son loves to play in our trash can. After about a month we noticed that it was no longer fitting the doorway tight enough. We tried to fix the problem by tightening it, but it was as tight as it would go. Soon after we noticed this, my son would lean on it to try and get into the kitchen for something he wanted or to come and be with me while I was cooking. He's only 24 pounds, and started to be able to pull the gate down out of the doorway by pushing it with his little body! I had to catch him more than once to assure he didn't hurt himself if he landed on top of the gate.On the last day of use I had had it. It was stretched out so much that I thought for sure I could push the lock up a notch and it would fit the doorway correctly again. Apparently I was wrong, because when I put the pressure on it to do this, the entire wooden frame cracked up the middle!
