Great all in one seat

By

Comments about Evenflo Maestro Combination Booster Seat:

I purchased two of these seats about two and a half years ago when my 15 month old twins outgrew their carrier style seats and were ready to be forward facing. I had actually been looking to purchase something else, but it was unavailable when I went to buy, so I bought these instead, I am so glad I did. I have always felt my girls were secure in these, and they have grown with them nicely. My now three and a half year olds are at the top slot, but I am pretty sure that will be good until they turn 4 and can use the seat with a regular shoulder belt, they are very tall for their age, but it seems this will continue to work. The cup holders are a great addition, my girls love having their drink, snack, or toys close at hand while they are in the car, but they do make the front of the seat a little wider which I found can be a little problem when you try to put 3 seats across in a vehicle as I have to do now.

Ease of Installation
It is really not any more difficult then any other seat on the market, but I hate putting seats in, so I have to rate it a little low.

Child's Comfort
Has been great for my girls. I love that the straps can tighten and loosen without taking the seat out.

Support and Safety
I have never had to test the safety of it myself, and hope I never do, but it seems like it does it's job well.

Ease of Use
Never had a problem

Durability
The only thing I have faced is the fact that the Styrofoam on the upper head rest is put on with a plastic pin, but not glued down, When I had the cover off to wash one time one of my girls pulled on this piece and broke it off. We were able to glue it back in place, but I wish this would have been thought of while they were designing it.

Great Seat With Affordable Price

By

Comments about Evenflo Maestro Combination Booster Seat:

When my son turned 9 months, he wasn't too comfortable anymore sitting on the baby carseat. His legs had outgrown the seat, and the previous carseat we had was for rear facing only, so he had to bend his legs while sitting in the car. He was about 19-20 pounds by then, so we started searching for the right booster with the price within our budget. Finally I found evenflo booster seat, and I was very interested because the price was affordable and the reviews were great. Many of our friends also said that it was a good brand. We finally bought this product, and it was a very good decision to make. My son is 17 months now,and he looks very comfortable sitting on this seat, it has four positions to adjust the shoulder harness, which is great because my son is growing so fast now. It has bottle holders on both sides, so we can put his drinks easily, the fabric is also soft and the padding is thick and easy to clean up. It's been tested for side impact protection, and the head pillow is also great for more comfort of his little head. This seat has two crotch straps, so it is great to make sure that you baby is safe and steady enough. This seat is very easy to install and uninstall. It can also be easily switched to belt positioning booster when your child is too big for harness belt. This seat can support child up to 110 pounds, so this is really worth buying. You don't have to find another one until your child is big enough to sit without booster. The compact size of this booster is also a great value, so it doesn't need too much room in the car. We once traveled with plane, and we brought this booster on the plane. It was so easy to carry because this is compact and very lightweight. The price is very affordable, so it makes this seat even more worth buying than other brands.

Great Booster!!

By

Comments about Evenflo Maestro Combination Booster Seat:

When we were looking for a booster a few years back, this one really appealed to us. Not only is it one of the top rated booster seats, it's also nicely styled and fits well into many vehicles. It's also priced right, so most people can afford this seat.

Ease of Installation
Super easy to install and remove from your vehicle. We move seats around more than some people, and this is really easy to get in and out. We have used it with the Latch system and with a standard car seat belt. Of course with the standard belt, you need to use the 5 point harness. But that's not a big deal.

Child's Comfort
Padding in this seat is more than adequate. Neither of my children have complained when in this seat. The head rest/protection area is also very nice.

Support and Safety
Like I said before...one of our main reasons for getting this seat was from safety ratings. Enough said. Get this seat!

Ease of Use
Easy to use...my only complaint on this seat is the button to loosen the 5 point harness straps. I have nicked my thumb many times. Other than that I have no complaints.

Design
Nice looking seat...not overly large, and not flimsy. The double cup holders are great. Now there are more color options than when we bout this 3 years ago, but I can't complain about grey!

Durability
3 years old and still looks almost new. Easy to remove cloth to clean/wash.

Don't be fooled by the price!

Comments about Evenflo Maestro Combination Booster Seat:

This is an excellent harnessing booster. It isn't the highest on the market, but it will give your child time between a convertible seat and a belt positioning booster. Small children generally lack the maturity to sit in "regular" boosters at age 3-4, and the harness on this seat will give you peace of mind that your preschooler is riding safely!

Wish I would have purchased the Evenflo Maestro Sooner!

By

Comments about Evenflo Maestro Combination Booster Seat:

After the latesest carseat recall (Safety 1st Alpha Omega) and decided it was time to purchase a new carseat for my 2 year old. After doing my research, talking to other moms and reviewing safety reviews, I decided to purchase the Evenflo Maestro featuring the RightFit technology. I wish I would have purchased this carseat sooner! While I thought I had the perfect carseat before, I was very wrong. This is the perfect carseat for us. 1st, my son is tall and skinny. I love that this carseat provides harness restraint to 50 pounds! When I sat him in it to adjust the shoulder straps, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I am currently only on the second slot. There is plenty of room to grow! 2nd, the seat of the carseat is not as deep as the Safety 1st, which allows it to fit in the back seat of my Jeep Liberty better than the Safety 1st. 3rd...my son LOVES the 2 cup holders. He can now have a sippy and a snack cup within reach as we travel. Last but not least...the price was amazingly affordable. I paid much more for my previous carseat and now feel like I got ripped off. If you are looking for a carseat for your older baby/toddler (forward facing only) this is definately the one to go with.

Great car seat for the money.

Comments about Evenflo Maestro Combination Booster Seat:

I purchased this seat for my four year old son.  He's of average height and weight. I searched to find a booster seat that would go beyond the forty pound weight limit that most car seats have, as my main desire was to keep him in a five point harness as long as possible.

While safety is a big issue, so is price since I am a stay at home mom.  I did plenty of research on the different five point harness booster seats.  Many of them were in a price range that was a little too high for our budget.  This was priced lower than I was planning on spending.  The biggest pluses for me were that 1) It was on the IIHS list of best bets, 2) The feedback I saw from other moms was very positive 3) Price 4) The fit of the car seat belt once the five point harness can no longer be used.  Many of the booster seats don't properly fit children.  They don't position the shoulder belt correctly over them.  This seat has the shoulder guide underneath part of the head rest and it works great.  The buckles are easy to use and the adjustment strap is very easy in the front of the seat.  It also has two adjustments for the crotch strap.  It's easy to take apart and clean.  My son is really comfortable and really likes this seat, too!

Evenflo Maestro is a great value

By

from Queensbury, NY

Comments about Evenflo Maestro Combination Booster Seat:

The Evenflo Maestro harnesses to 50 lbs before it can be used as a booster. Please note this is a forward-facing only seat! I like it not so much for the weight limit, but for the height of the harness slots. It is perfect for my tall, skinny kid - I can keep my wiggly son in a harness that much longer. We also own a Britax Frontier (not the Frontier 85) and, right now, at 4 years old and 40 pounds, he fits much better in the Maestro - the Frontier is just too much seat. It is easy to adjust, easy to install (installs great with a seat belt), and has sturdy webbing and clips. In addition, the cup holders are just the right size for kid-size drinks. I have installed it in a huge truck, minivan, compact cars, you name it. If I have to switch cars, I grab THIS seat. I have previously only used Britax seats, and I was very impressed by the quality of this one. My son loves riding in it as well. My only complaint is head slump - not the perfect seat for a child who frequently sleeps in the car.
