Evenflo Expressions High Chair Review Summary

With three-quarters of our reviewers recommending the Evenflo Expressions High Chair it scores points for being easily adjusted, in height and recline, and it moves easily on its wheels.” The wheels do lock in place, but several reviewers state they lock too easy with just a little bump. Designed to meet the needs of babies through toddlers, the Evenflo Expressions High Chair features 7 height positions and 3 reclining positions. With the Evenflo Expressions High Chair parents won’t need to worry about storage either since it can “just fold it up and put it out of sight” – though make sure you have a closet to put it in as it needs to lean on a wall. We got this for our son and love it. I like the 7 height adjustments on it. I'm also loving the dishwasher safe tray insert. It's great to just put that in the dishwasher. Our son also likes the little toy on the tray. I like that it can be folded up (kinda)and stored somewhere else if I need to. I don't... review »

The Evenflo Expressions high chair is a nice chair with nice features at a nice price. It scores points for being easily adjusted, in height and recline, and it moves easily on its wheels. I have not had a problem with the wheels locking at all. The Expressions model folds for storage, this is a valuable...

The Evenflo Expressions high chair is our second high chair.  I am the mother of seven children and our first high chair wore out.  Our youngest is now seven months and this high chair has been perfect.
My favorite feature right now is the removable, dishwasher safe insert tray.  After a particularly messy meal or snack, you can just pop the top part of the tray right off and put it in the sink or dishwasher.  This high chair has other helpful easy clean features.  The padding to the seat is easy to wipe off yet comfortable for our baby.
The safety features are a plus as well.  The 3 point...

We bought this because we have such a small kitchen/dining area and the fact that it folds up is great!  When we have family over, we can just fold it up and put it out of sight.

The additional added features of the adjustable height and 3 reclining positions are nice!  Great for more of an infant that needs to lean back to drink a bottle, and for a toddler that needs to sit straight up.

The seat cushion is easily washable, and you can remove the tray liner for washing in a dishwasher (it comes apart in two pieces to fit!).  Plus, it doesn't stain (my daughters had spaghetti sauce and ketchup...

I really liked this highchair for many reasons - neutral tone, wheels that lock, lightweight, a tray that detaches and fits into the dishwasher, etc.  However, the tray does not stay securely on the highchair, especially if you have it set at the farther settings away from the baby.  The tray has fallen off numerous times, scattering the food all over the floor.  This is a safety issue and it also creates a huge mess to clean up every time.  And now that my baby is older, she can push on the tray with her feet and make it fall off as well.  I had someone offer me their old highchair and I... review »

I purchased this chair for my 6-month old baby girl and I am very satisfied with it. It has 7adjustable height positions, I can feed her seating down on the floor, on the sofa or even standing up in the kitchen.  It also has a 3 recline positions. It's a very basic chair, but it's got all I need.

I purchased the Evenflo Expressions High Chair from Walmart for my 2 year old son.  I needed to put him back in a high chair and wanted something that would easily fit at my dining room table that was sturdy and reasonably prices.  The high chair had very good reviews on the walmart website and was a steal for just $60.  The high chair was NOT on display at Walmart but I purchased it anyway.  It was easy to put together and well-made.  The adjustable height feature made it very easy to pull up to my dining room table.  I liked the fabric of the seat which is not fabric but not plastic for...

We bought the Evenflo Expressions High Chair for our firstborn.  It is simple, practical, and comparatively inexpensive.  We have tried out a lot of high chairs with our numerous nieces and nephews, so we were pretty sure we knew what we *didn't* want and the Evenflo seemed like the best answer.

The chair reclines to three positions, which I initially thought was unnecessry.  It proved to be quite useful, though, as my child went through a period where he routinely fell asleep in the chair and I could recline him without waking him.

Pros -- Vinyl seat cover makes it easy to clean.  Single-latch...

We got the Expressions high chair by Evenflo when we adopted our eldest son.  He came home to us at six months old, so we started using it right away.  Pros of this highchair are:

Adjustable height- meaning that now that he's older our son can use it to sit at the table with us without the tray.  We like this because he can be belted in securely (he is two and very squirmy!) yet still be a "big boy" at mealtimes.  We also have an 8 month old and it is easy to switch back and forth for each child as the need arises.

Easy to clean padding- The fabric seems tohave a plastic-type coating or is...

With the adoption of our third and final daughter, we needed a new highchair. As she was to be the only child in our home to use it, I did not want to spend a ton of money but as I knew she would be a girl, I wanted a little girly-girl frill. Both of these needed to come from a dependable and repuatble brand.
The Evenflo Expressions Highchair fit the bill perfectly. It is pink and adorable and very girly. At the same time, it is easy to clean and care for and sturdy enough that I do not have to worry about her escaping from it or it falling over or collapsing with her in it. Evenflo is indeed...

We purchased this Evenflo Highchair about four years ago for my son who is now fixing to be five years old. He used the highchair until he was about two. Then my other son was born and he used this highchair from the time he was about four months until about two then our daughter was born and she is currently nine months and using this highchair! It is still in excellent condition considering all the times it has been used! I love it because the height can be adjusted so I can lower it if I feel like sitting to feed. I also love that you can take the tray off and adjust the chair to fit at your...

The Evenflow Expressions high chair was purchased because it appeared to have several practical features, but many of these supposed practical features are more of a problem.  The tray has a one hand method for mom and dad to remove the tray, however it also has two buttons under the tray on each side (within babies reach) that are extremely easy to release.  At 15 months our son is able to release the tray himself dumping food onto the floor, on a regular basis and allowing him to throw himself forward while latched into the chair.  While we do not leave him unattended he has rocked the... review »

A few months ago I purchased the Even-flo Expressions High Chair in the Circus print.  I absolutely love it.  The colors are very mute and neutral so it looks great in my small apartment.  It was so easy to put together.  I love the multi height adjustment which is really easy to use.  The towel rack on the back is great for bib storage.  My 9 month old daughter loves the fact that you can change out the switch-a-roo toys on the tray.  The reclining seat is very convenient for finishing off a meal with her bottle.  It's so easy to fold up for storage as well.  The removable tray is great,...

We were forced to get a new highchair when the one that we had passed down to us broke. We were looking for something affordable and durable. This was it. It didn't cost as much as some of the name brand ones that had either the same amount of features or less. This is the perfect highchair for those that are looking to save a few dollars without compromising safety or durability. We bought the Evenflo Expressions in the circus pattern and like it. I found that it cleans very easily in the washer also. No special instructions and you don't have to baby it. It's easy to clean and store. It doesn't...

This Evenflo Expressions High Chair has a lot of nice features. I love that it has seven different adjustable heights and you can fold it up to store it better. When my daughter got older, we lowered it so that she could get into it by herself and sit at table height with us. It is also nice that it has a tray that can be removed with one hand and is dishwasher safe. It also has wheels with locks so it will roll when you want it to and stay put when you don't. I also love that the chair pad is easily  removed so you can stick it in your washing machine whenever you feel like it. The downside is...
