Evenflo Expressions High Chair Review

The Evenflo Expressions high chair is a nice chair with nice features at a nice price. It scores points for being easily adjusted, in height and recline, and it moves easily on its wheels. I have not had a problem with the wheels locking at all. The Expressions model folds for storage, this is a valuable feature when you need more space. It has an easily clicked 3-point harness along with a guard built into the seat to keep baby from slipping out. I think this is great! I previously had a real cheap high chair with no guard and my daughter would try to slide down.  The height of the tray is perfect. In two other highchairs I have owned, one an Evenflo different model, the tray came below my daughters shoulders! So she's a little small, but that was bizarre. In the expressions model the try hits at a perfect height. There is plenty of clearance between tray and seat so if you had a big kid, it would still be fine. The tray itself has a dishwasher-safe food tray that sits in the tray that you take off and wash as opposed to removing the whole tray. This is very convenient. The seat itself is plastic and very easy to clean, as are the straps in the restraint.

Now, if I like this chair so much (which I do) why didn't I give 4 or more stars? Here is why. The tray on the Evenflo Expressions requires two hands to pull on and off. Not too big a deal, but a one handed function would be a tad more convenient. And the cover is cloth. It is very nice looking and nice material and surprising comfy despite having no thick padding. BUT being cloth means washing! A cover that repelled water would be truly better, then a quick wipe of the sponge would take care of any mess, and there is always mess.  Now I cover it with a blanket that I throw in the wash after my baby eats. Also the tray needs to be removed to get baby in and out, I wish it slid out enough to put baby in without falling off,(the tray, not baby:).

All in all, the Evenflo Expressions high chair is a good chair and I recommend it.
