These Evenflo glass bottles do nothing but leak!

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

When my youngest son was born, we used the BornFree bottles that we used from when my now-3-year old was a baby. It didn't seem like we had enough bottles, so I went to Target and bought these because they were glass (BPA-free) and because they were really small and perfect for a newborn. They were also really inexpensive; I want to say I paid around $5.00 for a pack of three bottles.

These bottles are only four ounces, but they are much more narrow than the average baby bottle, so they seem even smaller. Unlike my BornFree bottles, these Evenflo Classic Glass 4 oz Baby Bottles don't have any parts or pieces besides the nipple and the lid. The packaging says these bottles have "Micr...

Glass Baby Bottles Make a Come-Back with Evenflo

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

During this past pregnancy with my second little man, I began reading more and more about people using glass baby bottles due to concerns with plastic ones. Knowing I would need to purchase more bottles for my son, I did a little research. One of the most recommended glass baby bottles was the Evenflo Clear Glass Nurser and it was considerably cheaper than other bottles on the market. Back to the ClassicsBack in the day glass baby bottles was all that was available. Now, up until a few months ago, the Evenflo Glass Nursers were some of the only glass bottles available. With all of the fears surrounding polycarbonate plastics (having a chemical that supposedly can leach into baby&rsqu...

This bottle is great!

Overall

I LOVE this Bottle! The Evenflo Classic Cozy 8 oz.Evenflo Classic Cozy 8 oz. Glass Baby Bottle with Cozy Insulator 3-Pack! It is such a life changer. I have hard water at my house and it has a lot of lime in it so I won't boil my bottles in it, I have to steam sterilize. This bottle has made steam sterilization an easy as 1-2-3. Wash in My hard water at home, then pop in either my microwave steam sterilizer or my electric stand alone sterilizer. Then air dry! The cozy has made life wonderful as well because now I don't have to worry so much about breakage! I don't like Plastic bottles because of the BPA and other chemicals that are used in the plastic! The glass bottles are easy to clean and I know they are safe for my BABY! I would recommend this to anyone first second or third time moms!

The only down side to using a glass bottle is they are heavy so you may have to help your baby hold their bottle longer. Also if you use them without the cozy they can break.

Great glass baby bottle.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I told my mom I wanted to use glass baby bottles. She though I was losing my mind. Why would I want to use glass baby bottles when they had perfectly good plastic baby bottles? Well I told her because I do not like all the chemicals going into my baby. Once again she though I was crazy. She was afraid that they would break. I told her they have these really cool covers that go on them so they will not break. Well anyway. I love these bottles. I have used them with and without the covers and I have to say I like them much better without. I was to scared to try them without at first. They covers kept breaking and then I tried to wash the bottles with the covers on but they did not clean as well. I have dropped them many times on my hard wood floor and never broke a single one. They are make with very thick glass. The only down side I have found as the babies don't hold there own bottle as early as some kids do with the plastic because these are heavy.

I Love these bottles

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

With my first child I purchased the plastic bottles and then the scare with the BPA was going around and so with my second child I swore I would never by another plastic bottle.  I found these and thought that it was super cute that you can change the color on the bottles.  They are heavy and I noticed that it took my second son a little longer to hold his own bottle but I knew that nothing bad was going into his system.  They hold up nice.  I have dropped these a few times on the ground and have never dropped and that is what the rubber pieces are for is to protect the bottle and give the bottle style.  The rubber pieces are also easy to put on and off.  I had other glass bottles that have a different cover to them that you had to slide on when they are wet and it was just a pain.  They are dishwasher safe and they clean up easily.  I say that you get your moneys worth when you purchase this bottle.

Wonderful bottle from Evenflo!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Evenflo glass bottles are wonderful.  When I was pregnant with baby #2, I rid our house of anything that contained BPA.  In doing so, I went on a hunt for baby bottles that were BPA free, but also compatible with my breast pump.  Evenflo glass bottles fit the bill!  However, I was nervous about the fact that they were glass.  I was scared that one would drop (or be thrown) and I would have shards of glass all over our kitchen.  Well, the bottle cozy helps protect the bottle if it is dropped.  I can honestly say, that a bottle has dropped off our counter, onto a tile floor, and didn't have a crack in it.  And that was without the cozy on it!! We use the...

Evenflo Glass Bottles - Best Bottles

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

These bottles are the best bottles I have ever seen used or used myself. It is so funny that these are the epidomy of simple, and have been used for generations, however have been nearly forgotten in our modern world. People spend a ton of money on fancy bottles that supposedly make a huge difference in babies, however the results are debatable. In the end, these bottles are cheap, work well, and are safe. You have no worries about BPA or other harmful chemicals in plastic leeching into your baby's breastmilk or formula when you use glass bottles! Also, if you don't have a chance to clean them right away, the glass does not stain or retain odors like some plastic bottles do. One disadvantage is the "newborn and/or stage 1" nipples come out very fast. If you can deal with this while your child is very young, you will be fine. We have not bought new nipples yet, and our son is 6.5 months old. We love the ease and portability of these bottles, and they are very, very hard to break~!

Evenflo glass bottles are a great alternative to plastic!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

When I was pregnant with my first child I was very health concious. I read alot of reviews of baby products to get him the best. It was at that time all the scare with BPA platics were coming out in the news and I knew I could not trust any plastic at that time not knowing anything about BPA. I then found glass baby bottles. I had not heard much about them because they were just starting to come back around agian. I knew they had to be better then plastic but worried about them breaking. I found several online that had the rubber covers on them but they all were way beyond my price range and I was breastfeeding so I knew I would not get my moneys worth use out of them then if I was formula feeding. I then found Evenflo bottles with the rubber cover and knew I had to get them. They are easy to use and have never had a breaking issue once. I really enjoy these and feel good knowing that they are not leaching harmful chemicals into my babys drinks.

Evenflo Glass bottles won't break the bank

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I recently gave birth to a baby boy and decided to use glass bottles. I had used Playtex drop ins with my two older children. I did like the Evenflo glass bottles while my son was eating under four ounces. We used the five ounce glass bottles which were perfect until you needed to make a five ounce bottle.  As he began to eat more I switched to the nine ounce glass bottles. The bottles seemed very big and awkard. I would much rather use the Playtex Drop-ins and pay for the refills than to use the Evenflo glass bottles. I thought my son would like the nipples for the Evenflo glass bottle also but he did not. It seemed like they made the bottles leak when you went to shake them up. I ended getting formula all over me and everything else everytime I shook the bottle. They are also littler nipples so it seems like he gets more air which means he is gassier. The packaging claims that they provide less gas but that is not true.

a classic

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

BPA free, nearly unbreakable, and super afforable.  These are my kind of bottles.  I love that they make me feel a little old fashioned too.  I also like that they are available at almost any store.   We used these starting at 4 months old until right around a year.  They were great for breastmilk and formula when babies are still only eating 4 ounces, but then juice later when they outgrow this size for their main nurishment needs.  After 4 kids, we've used most of the bottles on the market and these were my absolute favorite.  I always thought the more expensive a bottle was, the better is must be, but these proved that wrong.  There's nothing fancy about them, but they are a work horse and met our needs.  I always felt like the glass bottles were cleaner since they don't scratch they come out of the dishwasher crystal clean.  I do recommend a very thin bottle brush for these.  The fatter ones are hard to squeeze in the smaller opening at the top.

Great first bottle

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

The Evenflow Classic Glass 4 ounce baby bottles are the first bottles we used with our daughter and they were great! It is overwhelming to chose a bottle, since there are so many options, but we are glad that we chose these because they worked so well for us.

I wanted to use glass bottles because of my concerns with BPA, and I found out that glass bottles are hard to find. Evenflow Classic Glass bottles are one of the few glass bottle options available and they are quite a bit cheaper than the other choices.

The four ounce size is great for newborns and younger infants. My daughter accepted the nipple with no problems, even though I was also breastfeeding. I was able to use these bottles without it causing issues with nursing, which was really important to me.

The Evenflow Classic Glass 4 ounce baby bottle is a good first bottle. Inexpensive, easy to clean, durable, and BPA free. These are a great addition to any expecting mother's baby registry!

For Moms who don't take chances with baby's health and safety

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

**While my daughter was pregnant, she asked me to research the perfect baby bottle.  Although she nursed, she knew she'd need bottles sooner or later for supplemental feedings when she was at work.  **

I researched all the plastic type baby bottles first.  My summation is that there is no plastic baby bottle that can be guaranteed safe for baby.  Regardless of the content of the plastic, plastic still leaches when its heated.  Also, plastic just doesn't clean as well as glass.  Bacteria can grow inside a plastic baby because its a porous material.  Nope, not for my grandchild!

**Glass bottles are a little more expensive than plastic.  There are v...

Best value for the price

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I got these as a baby shower gift from my mother.  She was worried about all the plastic bottles that were out there and decided that going back to basics was the best idea.  I couldn't have agreed more since I was worried too.  The rubber of the cozy is good quality, didn't smell, and hasn't cracked, it's even soft to the touch.  The glass is nice and easy to clean, no residue left over like on the plastic ones. My son prefers these though for juice and water only.  He still prefers a nipple more like mom's for his formula.  The only downside of these bottles is that the nipple doesn't seal all that well around the rind and when held upside down/tilted sideways to feed it will start to leak a little and the nipple itself is too fast of a flow for younger babies. If you put the cozy on too high the ring will not screw on properly and you will also have leaking issues as well, which is why I use it for water or juice.

Used these when I wasn't home to feed and after 7 months

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I debated about buying these bottles when I was pregnant with our third and youngest child. I knew they were heavy and the glass part scared me but since they were only going to be used when I wasn't home to nurse they ended up being my top choice. I went ahead and bought the Evenflo Classic Cozy 8 oz.Glass Baby Bottle with Cozy Insulator. They cleaned and sterilized easily before use and were great for heating up milk easily outside of microwave use. I had two of the bottles break on me after repeated throwing by my son but the cozy insulator kept it contained. They held up to well over a year of tossing. If you want to buy them just be sure to replace them around the one year point just to...

Evenflo Classic Cozy 8 oz. Glass Baby Bottle are durable!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

The Evenflo Classic Cozy 8 oz. Glass Baby Bottle with Cozy Insulator is the best classic glass bottle on the market. If you're looking for a quality classic glass baby bottle then look no further. This is it! The cozy insulator helps protect baby if the bottle falls out of babies mouth because it cushions the glass a bit. It also makes the bottle easier to hold onto. It protects the bottle if it's dropped on the floor. I've yet to have one break. They are easy to clean and I feel that they are much cleaner than plastic bottles. They're also dishwasher safe if you choose to clean them that way. I purchased these bottles in the three packs and I love the bright fun colors! These bottles are my favorite classic bottle. They are much heavier than plastic bottles but they last longer and you don't have to worry about the safety  of the bottle like you do with some plastic bottles. I would definitely recommend these.
