I love this car seat.  I searched for a long time for a budget friendly, safe carseat that my 2 year old would use for a long time.  This one won!  She loves it, and loves to help me buckle her in.  It also has a pretty girly pattern for her to enjoy.  It isn't decked out, but we didn't need one with bells and whistles for car rides.  I love how light weight it is and how easy it is to switch from car to car when needed.  It was also an awesome price.  I love how she can use it pretty much until she will not need a car seat any longer. I also love how you can harness them up to 40 pounds...that is very important for me and for her safety.  I would recommend this carseat to all my friends...and I have.  I have also had a few buy it from my suggestion.  With the econemy these days, everyone needs a good product for less money.  If you buy this, you will not be sorry.  It will last you for a long time.

I did a lot of research before buying this seat for my 2.5 year old.  I wanted a seat that would grow with him.  I wanted a seat that would be his last carseat and that came with a good safety rating.  This seat does that.  It provides a five point harness for the child under 40 pounds.  At 40 pounds, it transforms to a booster seat.  I have one of these for each of our cars.  Overall, we have been pleased with the Evenflo Chase.  It works well with the latch system and with a seat belt.  It is not a heavy seat and it has cushioning for a comfy ride.  I like the system for loosening and tightening the five point harness.  It is located right on the frong of the harness system.  The complaint I have about it is the cup holder.  It is a plastic piece that clips on.  This does not work.  It gets knocked off when moving around the car and it falls off when a tight fitting cup is pulled out of it.  The snack tray is the same way.  They don't work and if a cup holder is important to you, don't get this seat.
