Really nice, but not for jogging.

4

When I was first looking for strollers I had my eye on a specific jogging stroller travel system, but it was continually out of stock and I was getting closer and closer to my due date with no car seat or stroller!  So, I decided to get the Evenflo Aura™ Elite - Greenville Travel System Stroller and get a jogging stroller later down the road (15 months late and I'm still waiting to get my jogging stroller...).  Although this stroller is pretty heavy it is also nice and durable (it's a give and take in that department).  This stroller is very long though, which makes maneuvering in small mall shops difficult.  I tried roller blading behind it once and it was not successful.  Once I got to a nice cruising speed the wheels would wobble causing an annoying vibrating of the stroller.  My son didn't like it, nor did I.  This stroller is no good for running or blading.  It is good on terrain such as sand or grass though.  Very hardy build.  I like all the compartments it has such as: 2 cup holders for parent and two for baby, wipes holder with compartment underneath (big enough for sunglasses, keys, wallet, cell phone, etc.), and tray for snacks for baby.  The ability to steer easily with one hand is nice.  Over all it's a nice system.  The car seat is nice.  I liked the fact that I could buy an extra base for grandma's car.  It was really great that I could take baby out of the carseat and into the stroller without having to wake him up by unstrapping him from his seat (priceless!!).

love the Z handle

Overall I am happy with this travel set.  The Evenflo Aura Elite Travel System is easy to use and handles city terrain very well.  I find the wipes dispenser to be useless but the cup holders and small zipper compartment are very handy for a water/baby bottle, a cell phone, keys, and a wallet.  The infant seat is a little large, it fits in my car but there is definitely a certain process to putting it in the car.  You have to put the handle down completely and angle it just so to get it onto the base but I was able to do this just 2 weeks after my C-section so it's not too bad.  The ease of carrying the Z-handle makes the extra steps worth it.  I love that the fabric print is gender neutral. The only problem I've had so far is that the rear brake broke on one wheel the very first time we used the stroller.  Evenflo didn't give me any hassle when I called for a replacement but the part is on backorder so I still don't have the replacement and just have one working brake.

Evenflo -Auro elite travel system. My baby likes a lot. very comfortable for me also to handle. seat adjustment is great -  seat come bed, seat back reclines to bed. very handy - it has wipes dispenser case, has got two cup holder, storage for cellphone, purses and wallet. Huge storage space- great for shopping to dump all bags, great to store babies diaper bag and has got space to store the coats   Little heavy bulky. occupies the entire car trunk. folding is little difficult. occupies space at home also.

Not a fan

I received this as a gift for my baby shower, and I was very happy with the system when I got it. Overall it is a decent stroller for the price, but I would pick something different for my next baby.  The stroller is very large and bulky, it is easy to open and close which is a plus. I don't like that the shade does not extend very far. It does not keep the sun out of my babies eyes at all. It also has a window for you to view your baby while walking, but it does not extend far enough on its own. Having done more research now, I wish the shade extended all the way down to also block wind on colder days.  It is difficult to move the seat from a sitting up position to a reclining system, and vice versa. I can't do this at all while the baby is in the stroller.  I love the handle for the stroller, it allows you to control the stroller with one hand which is a very nice feature. Also the storage bag at the bottom has plenty of room and is easy to access, which is something that I have not seen with other strollers.  I don't really have a lot to say about the car seat. It only goes up to 22 lbs, so next time I will be getting a car seat that goes to 30 lbs.

good value for the money

This stroller with infant car seat is a good value for the money, especially if you are on a budget. The stroller reclines almost all the way, which is great for a sleeping baby. The car seat easily snaps onto the stroller, also great for a sleeping baby that falls asleep during the car ride to your destination. The under-buggy storage compartment is great for storing the diaper bag, a blanket, etc. I really like the fact that the stroller has 2 cup holders and a storage spot that is concealed. The concealed storage is great for dad's keys and cell phones -- one less thing for mom to hold! I love that there is a cup holder for both mom and dad, too, and the baby has his or hear own cup holder.

Great value, great system

We bought this for our second child. We picked this out because it was less expensive than most other travel system stoller/carseat combos. We also picked it because it was gender neutral and new that we would be having at least one more baby and would like to reuse it. This system is all great quality. Additional carseat bases were available for purchase for our other vehicles. We did have another child after our second daughter and he did not look silly in this seat because it is truly neutral. It has lasted and worn so well through the two children. We still have the stroller part of the system and it still looks great, and we have definitely used it alot. We have passed the carseat on to my neice and it is still in great shape as it is on the third child. The fabric is all removable to easily machine wash, which I love!!

Wonderful Evenflo Stroller Not So Good Car Seat

3

This was travel system was given to us as a baby shower gift. I really like the print it is safari animals and its in a neutral brown and tan. I will be able to use this for the next baby no matter if its a boy or girl. The stroller is really good I have not had any problems. I would not suggest taking the stroller off of paved paths I have been told that it can mess the wheels up really quickly. It has a huge under carriage basket my diaper bag fit with no problems. The stroller is extremely easy to steer you can even steer with one hand. I really like the feature that the stroller can be turned into a carriage for small babies. I used this feature a lot when my son was tiny that way I didn't have to haul the car seat every where. The car seat bruised my babys back. I could never figure out where the bruise was coming from in the middle of his back. Then my friend was putting him in the seat and she said "hey there is a big bump here". I felt the back of the car seat and there was a hard bump were the Styrofoam ended. So right at the middle of his back there was a 1" dip. I pulled the cover off the car seat and fitted a cut piece of chair padding in the back and he never screamed about being put in his car seat again. Poor baby I wish I had checked it before.

Good price, good quality

My wife and I have always been budget conscious, so when we saw this car seat on sale at costco, we decided that this was going to be the best car seat for our first child, and hopefully we would be able to use it for our future children. We have not had any major problems yet, however when you go lock the car seat into position in its base in the car, you need to make sure it is locked in, because although you may hear a click, that doesn't necessarily mean that the car seat is locked in, which I am glad I figured out before an accident happened. Our car seat also came with a matching stroller which was a really good thing. We use the stroller all the time and it has held up really well, one thing that could have been improved would be the number of compartments for the stroller, which is no big deal. With the car seat, I wish it would have come with the handle that is configured differently to make easier to hold.

Evenflo Aura has Great designs, awkward size

3

While expecting our first baby, we bought the Evenflo Aura travel system.  It came time to put the car seat in the car, and it would NOT fit.  It wasn't even a possibility behind the driver's seat.  In order to get it behind the passenger seat we had to scoot the passenger seat WAY up into the dash and have the seat straight up.  We were disappointed we couldn't find a way to fit the seat in (we own a sedan, not a "compact" car though").  Anyway, we ended up taking it back and exchanging for a different brand that fit better. The seat had a cool design, easy to use for a boy or girl.  The cushioning seemed very comfortable, firm but cushy.  The travel system made it easy to go from car to stroller.  After buying a different brand, the Evenflo did seem very large.  It is rated high for safety, twice the safety standards.  Overall, it was a great product if you have a big enough car to fit it.  Not to expensive either.

Really Great & Easy to Use

4

I got this travel system for by newborn and I loved it. Once I got the hang of opening and closing the stroller really quick, It was so easy to use!  I loved that I could put my baby in the carrier and go from the house to the car, to the stroller, back to the car and then back in the house without ever having to take her out of the seat itself.  Its wonderful when they are sleeping because as everyone knows, "You never wake a sleeping baby"  As she got older, I started putting her in the stroller with the carrier.  She loves being able to sit up and look around.  The best part is, when she gets tired, I just lower the back so she can lay down, give her ther blankie and she will take a nap wherever we are at!  The only thing I would change about it is, I wish the handle where you push was moveable (front to back) so you & your baby can see each other, or you can make it where they can see everyone else.  But besides that, she is 14 months and we still use the stroller!
