Evan Almighty Review

I was very disappointed when we saw this in the theater. I was expecting that it would be as funny at Bruce Almighty. At times it didn't make sense and the message was odd. Then it didn't make sense, there was a bridge that caused a flood but the water only ran down the mainstreet instead of the side ones?

It had a lot of potential, but it just didn't make the mark. This was designed for the Christian market (as the last one was designed for humor first) and the purpose of the movie was more for the getonboard.com concept than the movie.

The characters were not as connected -you started with a sub character in the first movie being married with kids, but you really never learned about the family unit much. There were lots of gaps and it was a BIG disappointment for us. We normally buy all the new movies we like, this one was not purchased.

I hope there isn't a 3rd one planned.
