Eureka Vacuum - Optima - Lightweight Bagless Upright Vacuum - 431A —
Thank you for purchasing the first 'Get Fit, Weightloss Eureka Vacuum!". I had just recently purchased a one bedroom Manhattan apartment - thus you can imagine the small size of it. Apparently I also ordered a work out apparatus. There are hardwood floors throughout the place. I purchased 2 rugs, one for my bedroom and one for the livingroom. Due to the nature of new wool rugs - they shed, A LOT. HOW THE HECK this vacuum is good with pet hair is BEYOND me! The first week I had this vacuum was great. Cleaning the filter sucked - but whatever, this is the price I pay right?It wasn't too long until I started chasing the fuzz from my shedding carpets around the apartment with this vacuum cleaning instead of sucking it up. WOO!!! Fuzz marathons!!! Run , run, run!!! Quick! Make a sharp left turn... ooo make another!! What is this? NASCAR in my kitchen/living room area?? Hold on... need to take a breath... Perhaps a sip of water too. Okay... ready to clean again!
Oh.. new exercise... Apparently I didn't accomplish much in the relay race portion, so we're now moving onto squats! Alright... grab that hose! And '1 squat, suck up fuzz with hose, 2, squat, suck up fuzz with hose.... now lets add the army crawl to really get into those special places. Squat, army crawl, suck up fuzz with hose... and repeat....
Doing a thorough vacuum of my entire aparment should not take more than 10 - 15 minutes, and that's the entry way, bedroom, kitchen-dining room into living room, and bathroom - including my 2 rugs. Instead it takes 10 - 15 to semi clean 2 square feet.
To work out your arms - it will occassionally pick up items pushing the vacuum away from you, but when you pull it back towards you.. it leaves a trail of what it managed to get into it's container - which will leave you with hours of going over the same spot - don't forget to switch hands! BOTH arms need equal time!
The added bonus - Itchy Eyes!!! Now who doesn't want that!? All you need to do is clean the filter! I prefer using bobby pins. I think I have the cleanest filter because I love this feature and I keep thinking that it will improve my work out sessions... It will also allow you to dump half the stuff you picked up with the hose back on your floor. Make sure you use the vacuum to blow it around your place real well!
If you want tighter abs, bigger biceps and a firm butt.. then this is the vacuum for you... If you want something that actually picks stuff OFF the ground DONT waste your time or money.
