Eureka Vacuum - Eureka Capture Plus — 

Last weekend I had a great coupon for 30% off any item in a store, so I decided it was the perfect time to pick up a new vacuum. We ended up with the Eureka Capture and LOVE it. Because we wanted a true test of how well it worked, we vacuumed an area with our older Bissell(about 9 years old). Then we repeated immediately the Eureka. It was astonishing and a little disturbing how much pet hair and loose dirt were picked up. I have to admit, it makes vacuuming more rewarding when you can see the results right away, both in the carpet & when you dump the container. We were so excited about the results, we took it over to my parents to repeat the test. They have a central vacuum system. The sand picked up from my neat freak mother's living room was enough to convince her to purchase the vacuum right away. In fact, they paid me for ours and we had to go get another! I recommend this for everyone, expecially with pets. We have been unable to find anything else to pick up as much of our very lab's hair.

You can go over any vacuum with another ad pick up more dirt. That's how Kirby salesman pitch their vacuums. Also, beware of all of these vacuums with so called HEPA filtration. Just because they have a HEPA filter on them doesn't mean ALL of the exhaust exits through that filter! Miele vacuums are the only ones I know of that are fully sealed! What good is a vacuum if it's blowing particles back into the air to land on the carpet, furniture, and in our lungs?
