The Eureka Boss Smartvac Bagged Upright Vaccuum Cleaner has many pluses. It cleans well and it picks up pet hair well. It's very durable and lasts a long time. I once had to replace a belt but you can expect to do that with almost any vacuum cleaner. It has a nice headlight feature and replacing the bulbs is quick and easy. Most of all, it's inexpensive. I got mine on sale for less than a hundred bucks and it's still going strong.

There are a couple of points that might not make it right for everyone. The vacuum is heavy so if you are older or have a physical disability, you may want to investigate lighter model vacuums. The stretchy hose is not long enough for many tasks but most vaccuums in this class don't offer a hose at all so that's a minor point.

Are there better vacuums out there? Sure but they'll cost you three or four times as much. If you're looking for an inexpensive vacuum that cleans very well, the Eureka Boss Smartvac Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner is an unusually good buy. It's likely that you'll be able to find it on sale.but even at the listed price, it's a bargain.
