Eureka Boss 4D Pet Fresh Bagless Upright Vacuum Vacuum —

We are a household of pet lovers.  We have two dogs and a cat, and I am constantly struggling with pet hair.  I had a great vacuum, but it died recently, so I had to shop for a new affordable vacuum that would help with the pet hair in our home.

I found the Eureka Boss 4D Pet Fresh Bagless Upright Vacuum at Walmart, and was impressed with the features that it offered.  These features include:

  • Wide cleaning path
  • Settings for carpet height and/or bare floors
  • Self propelled
  • Pet Power Paw stair & upholstery brush
  • Telescopic self-cleaning duster
  • Odor eliminating HEPA filtration system
  • Bagless
  • Easy to clean filter
  • Headlight
  • Hose extender and other attachments
  • Vacuum can lay flat & clean under beds

When I brought my vacuum home, it had to be assembled, but I did it myself and it took less than five minutes.  I simply snapped the handle in place and then screwed two screws into place.  Then, I had to attach the Telescopic self-cleaning duster.  All the packaging was recyclable, which is always a bonus.

I put my new vacuum to work right away.  Now get this.  I had spent TWO DAYS steam-cleaning my carpets & thought I probably wouldn't get much out of the carpet.  WRONG.  I could not believe the amount of hair, dirt and dust that the Eureka Boss 4D Pet Fresh Bagless Upright Vacuum sucked up!!!  It captured so much junk in the bagless area, that I had to empty it before I could finish.  Then, it was filled to the top again by the time I was done.  I was amazed at how well the vacuum worked & also has easy it was to push.  I have a bad back, so having to shove a vacuum really hurts me.  However, with the Eureka Boss 4D Pet Fresh Bagless Upright Vacuum, I had no problem thoroughly vacuuming my house.

This vacuum isn't really lightweight.  It weighs around 25 pounds, but it is still easy to push.  It may be hard to lift for anyone with back or neck problems, but pushing it will not be a problem.  The Eureka Boss 4D Pet Fresh Bagless Upright Vacuum measures in at:  10.0 x 15.0 x 44.5 (these dimensions were copied from the Walmart website)

The best part about the Eureka Boss 4D Pet Fresh Bagless Upright Vacuum is the price.  I paid a reasonable $ 148.00 for the vacuum, which is very affordable for a a vacuum that works so well.

Bottom Line - If you're a pet owner, and are trying to keep the pet hair in your home at bay, I'd recommend this vacuum for that purpose.  It works well, it's affordable, and you can SEE how much dirt, dust and hair you're removing from your home.

I just purchased this vacuum from Wal-Mart. I have 3 cats and I am absolutely amazed at how much fur and dust this vacuum got off my carpet! I had to empty the canister twice as well. I agree with jasyjen that it IS heavy, but in my opinion I am glad I bought it. I have a raised ranch home with carpeted stairs and I love the 30 foot long cord. Although the hose was a bit of a pain, the Pet Power Paw worked extremely well too.

I need this. I have pets and they leave their fur everywhere all the time.

See, a lot of times you're there ahead of me, Cuz, and I don't mind following in YOUR shadow either, Pet Mama!

This looks like the Eureka I bought although mine didn't say anything about pets. Alas, I used i a few times and ended up giving it away to someone else. I don't understand bagless vacuums with Hepa filters. You can empty them but then the filter is dirty and there is no easy way to clean that. I think I will stick with bag models from now on but I will admit that this was a nice vacuum other than that!

Right! I'm always trying to keep my pets' hair at bay. Like you, I have two dogs and a cat and, here at least, shedding season is in full force. Finally, vaccum cleaner makers are paying attention to us. The main thing that deters me about this one IS the weight. But it sure sounds effective!

I am thinking about getting a new vacuum. I mainly want one with good suction power. I don't have pets so that isn't an issue for me.
