My husband baught me this and I instantly loved it. The one time I ask him to vaccum he ran over the power cord and shorted it out. I was sooo mad I made him go get me another one that night. I have a dog that sheds like crazy and I also have 7 cats ( I know crazy) but this vaccum is so amazing and gets all the hair up.

Great price for great power! I bought this to replace another one that had lost power. We had recently moved into a rental and there was dog hair EVERYWHERE. This got it all up. Now a year later, it still has great suction power. I really expected for the price, that it would stop being so effective, but I love it! Ease of Maintenance So far the dumping of dirt has been super easy. The only complaint I would have is not knowing there was extra filter that has to be taken apart and it was kind of tricky to put back on. Suction Performance Most vacuums lose their suction by this time, but so far, I am still going like the day I bought it. Versatility The extra pieces don't seem to be as well functioning as the main vacuum. I definitely wouldn't use this on stairs, but have cleaned wall and ceiling vents with it. The extension hose is fine but the attachments don't see to do as well. Durability We have moved twice and even my teenager uses it. It has held up really well to bumps and even one drop down two stairs.

I've owned this Eureka AirSpeed Bagless Vacuum model # AS1000A for several years now and have not had one problem at all with it yet. It is the best one I've owned. It performs every time and does an incredible job of getting all the dust and things out of the carpet, furniture and air conditioner or furnace / wall heater vents. HEPA filter removes up to 99.97 percent of all allergens It has a very powerful suction and yet isn't as loud as you'd expect it to be for being that strong. Being asthmatic all my life, a vacuum is one household tool that is an absolute must and a good one is my top priority. Maneuverability As a stand up vacuum I find it's very easy to use and maneuver. The tools being located on the back side also make it easier to reach those tall and awkward places that are needed. I also have others who have used it and they find it easy also, never a complaint! Ease of Maintenance I love the fact that it's bagless and collects SO much dust and small debris brought in from the outside by the dogs paws. You just take hold of the handle on the front of the canister and empty it, then put it back. So easy to do and no more expensive bags to buy, or if you're like I used to be, you can't vacuum because you forgot to buy bags and it's full. That was one of the many features but one of the top ones that sold me on this specific vacuum. I will never go back to bag needed vacuums now. Suction Performance This Eureka AirSpeed Bagless Upright Vacuum, AS1000A packs a 12 amp motor but it seems like it's much more than 12 amps. It does an incredible job. I have a Maltese and a Maltese/Yorkie both rescues and you wouldn't even know it. No sign of it at all, or smell thanks to this wonderful vacuum I'm able to enjoy my furry for legged kids now that my 2 legged ones finished high school, married and have moved out of the nest. I've owned others in the past that were more powerful and that I've paid much more for and they didn't do half the job that this one has done for me. Living with Asthma, myself and a child, plus several with allergies this is of the utmost importance. Versatility I find that they thought of every kind of situation that you might encounter when designing the tools and attachments for this Eureka AirSpeed Bagless Upright Vacuum, AS1000A. It's very versatile in that respect. Design The design is attractive, nice to look at, user friendly, real smart. The hose arches over the back permanently attached at one side and clips into the other side, it's a generous 10 feet long with all the attachments slim and tucked in back very efficient and well. No more searching all over that closet floor for the missing vacuum attachments that have fallen off all the time, or getting things caught on the attachments as your getting the vacuum out because they stick out /are awkward shapes. Slim, trim nice shapes that fit well and get the entire job done. Durability I've owned my Eureka AirSpeed Bagless Upright Vacuum, AS1000A for 5 years now and it's kept myself and my 4 teenage children & 2 dogs clean and dust free every day for a very full 5 years in a 2 story 4 bedroom home! And my asthma has never been better, the allergies have been as good as the have been, that in itself should let anyone know what a great vacumm this is. I can not recommend this highly enough!

The Eureka AirSpeed Bagless Vacuum is a great vacuum! It has great suction that keeps going even when the bag-less canister is getting full. It can pick up just about anything and does a great job with hair and pet fur. It is a bit bulky and can be a bit difficult to maneuver when you need to get into tight spaces, and sometimes it is just easier to move the furniture out of the way then to try and go around. The canister is easy to remove and empty and is all plastic so you can rinse it clean with water if it gets gross. This vacuum only died when a friend borrowed it to vacuum their long overdue apartment and the intake hoses got clogged with cat hair, causing the engine to blow. But even that is a testament to the power and suction that this model has to offer, it kept on sucking even after the canister was full and the hoses were filling up with fur. Maneuverability Not too hard to move around but definitely not the easiest one I've used, it is a bit cumbersome and has a hard time getting into tight spaces. Stairs are a pain with this big guy. Ease of Maintenance Very easy to maintain, just remove and dump the canister into the trash (I recommend doing his outside since it can kick up some dust - no sense getting the floors dirty right after you vacuum). Suction Performance A little too powerful with the suction when it managed to fill up and clog the hoses. Versatility The Eureka AirSpeed Bagless Vacuum basically only has the one function - vacuum your floors. there is a hose attachment that you can take and use to get into tight spaces or up high but nothing special that you can't find on just about any vacuum. Design It's attractive enough, no complaints. Durability Very durable it didn't break even when being used by several friends in an apartment building, being dragged from one to another, up and down stairs, not a problem.

This was the second vacuum I ever bought for my home. The first month of using this vacuum it was great. However, since then the vacuum has seemed like have suction issues. It still works great, don't get me wrong, however something it seem like it will barely suck things up, even if the canister is clean. It frequently needs cleaned out, more than my Dyson does. You really can't compare this vacuum to Dyson, because they differ so much. Cleaning my Eureka is kind of complicated. You actually have to take the hose completely apart to ensure its cleaned completely. If you have a new carpet you have to be very attentive with how much carpet gets sucked up into the hose. If your not careful, the hose can fill up with loose carpet, and its very hard to get it out. All in all, this is a decent vacuum for the price you will be paying. Vacuum's are expensive, and this is a good alternative to those real expensive ones.

My mom bought me and my husband this sweeper for Christmas this past year. I had been needing a new one for a while but didn't want to spend the money. I thought my old sweeper was doing a pretty decent job until I used my new Eureka Airspeed Bagless Vacuum AS1000A. I was amazed at how much dirt was actually hiding in my carpets. It grossed me out since I had a baby crawling around on the floor. One sweep though the house and I had to completely empty the sweeper and brush off the filter! I have a very furry cat, and this works well on sweeping up her hair balls. My carpet almost looked like it wasn't even the same carpet anymore, this sweeper is THAT good! I highly recommend this sweeper to anyone looking for a great working sweeper for a decent price. Maneuverability A little rough turning around the corners and trying to get up the stairs. Suction Performance This sweeper has a very high suction performance. It cleaned stuff from deep down inside my carpets that I had NO IDEA was even there. I use the hose on tile and wood floors and never seem to miss even the smallest crumbs. Having a small child, something with HIGH suction cleaning power is a must. Design Very nice and sleek design. Matches my home decor very well.

I like the simplicity of this vaccum because it is easy enough for my kids to understand how to use and it has all the attachments I would need to keep even the corners in my house dirt free. Maneuverability This vaccum is easy to use and maneuver. I can set it on any floor setting and it still glides easily across the floor. This vaccum is a lot lighter than other vaccumees I have used so it makes it even easier to use. Ease of Maintenance The parts all come apart easily to be cleaned on this vaccum and I can easily take it apart to replace the belt when needed. Suction Performance No matter what setting I have this vaccum set on it has very strong suction power and removes all debris, dirt, and dust off of bare floors and carpeting. Design The design of this vaccum is simple and so it is easy to use and to clean. The design helps by having the extra attachments in convenient places so I can easily get to them when I need them. Durability This model is built strong and withstands any job I use it for.

My husband and I recently moved into our first place and my mom gave us this vacuum as a house-warming gift. I have never assembled a vacuum before and I had no problem assembling this vacuum. It was together in less than twenty minutes and ready to use. I had a few problems at first, but after researching a bit I worked everything out. Our apartment is mostly carpet, but this vacuum also has a bare floor setting, so I can use it on the kitchen and bathroom floors as well. I vacuum everyday so I have to clean it often, depending on how much traffic has been through. My husband works under houses and can track in quite a bit of dirt, but I don't have any trouble getting it out of the carpet. The suction is great and will pick up just about anything (I've accidently sucked up a couple of socks) and it leaves the carpet and floors nice and clean. I have used it on linoleum and so far no scratches or scuffs. It's pretty light and I have no trouble getting it under furniture with low-clearance. The only problem I have had with the vacuum is, if you are vacuuming in a hurry and you're a little too rough on it, it will detach. I recommend cleaning it after 4-5 uses, unless you have a big mess then clean after using it, because like any bagless it loses suction a little and will begin to spit out some dust. Cleaning it is extremely easy; all you have to do is pull out the dust cup and filter, it separates into 3 smaller pieces and just run warm water over the pieces, and let them dry a few hours. It's great for a first vacuum and I highly recommend it.

This is a wonderful vacuum, the one I have works great just make sure you do routine cleaning of all the parts to keep it running efficiently. Maneuverability Very easy to maneuver, it's a pretty light vacuum and most of the time it feels like it's pulling itself, even my five-year-old can use it. I do wish that it could go around corners of furniture a little easier, but since the base of it is all connected it can't pivot that way. Ease of Maintenance It's pretty easy to maintain, the top filter is easy to clean as well as the inner filter, but it's sometimes difficult to get the parts to click back together there's also a place to remove the hose so you can clean that out easily as well. Suction Performance This vacuum has great suction! I never have any issues with it, it picks up everything in it's way! Versatility Pretty versatile, other than not being able to go around corners of furniture perfectly, it's great Design This vacuum has a great design, I love the easy release on the bottom of the canister so you never have to get your hands dirty when emptying the dirt out. Durability Very durable, these things work great, I use it every single day, sometimes more than once a day and it stands up to the test very, very well. Even once this one quits working which I'm sure we've got a few more years of it I will buy this same one again!

We were able to get this vacuum cleaner at a good price, which has been the only good thing about purchasing this particular vacuum cleaner. We were not expecting to have to do so much maintenance on it. After using it about six times, we noticed that it was not doing a good job of picking up stuff from off the floor. Also, there was a red light on it that kept blinking. We called customer service who told us to take the vacuum cleaner apart and wash various parts. We ended up having to do this every time we vacuumed since as soon as we turned it on, the red light would start blinking again. The company then sent us a couple of replacement parts, but this did not fix our situation as it still does not have good suction. The attachment piece that is used to vacuum the stairs does work pretty well. We are now starting to look into buying another vacuum cleaner, but definitely won't be this one.
