My church recently bought two of these nifty little vacuums and, as a member of the custodial crew and cleaner of the church chairs, I was thrilled to see new vacuums in the closet!

I hate vacuums that make hardly any noise and barely suck up the dirt (yes, Shark, I am talking about you!!!). Imagine how happy I was that these vacuums make a beautiful VROOOM sound and clean up dirt and dust with little effort!

However, I do not like the handle on the vacuum. I spend about 30-35 minutes vacuuming chairs. There is no type of padding on the hard, plastic handle and it rubs against your palms and fingers, leaving a burning sensation. If you're really unfortunate, you'll wind up with blisters. If you plan on using this for vacuuming stairs at home or cleaning up small messes, that really shouldn't be a problem. But if you are going to use this for extended periods of time, be warned!

Also, the cord on the back is a bit of a nuisance. Once it is wound up you have to somehow get the little plastic "hook" to latch onto a piece of the wound up cord. I had some difficulty because unless it is wound snuggly around the holder it will fall off. When it is wound snuggly, there is no room for the hook to latch!

Still, this is a pretty nice vacuum that does the jobĀ  well and requires NO bags (you might have to replace the filter from time to time, but I don't know what the instructions are for that). It is relatively inexpensive. I found it on Amazon for $51.85 and some people were selling their used/new ones for as low as $40.

I would recommend it if you need to get a small hand-held vacuum for use around the house. If you are planning on heavy use, you might want to find a more hand-friendly machine!
