A friend of mine recommended this product to me, because my dog is getting older and is not eating nearly as much as she use to. She has begun to lose some weight, so I decided to give this product a shot and try it out. For many years, she has eaten Pedigree and loved it, but I could tell the minute I opened this bag that she was going to love it. I has a very natural smell and looks much healthier than other dog foods available. My dog seems to prefer the taste of the Eukanuba brand, although it is a bit more expensive than her regular brand food. I have noticed after a few weeks that she is eating more, putting on a little weight (not fat, but actual muscle), and her coat and teeth look much healthier than they have in years. So far I'm very happy with this product, especially after looking online at the ingredients and quality of the product. One of the biggest results I have seen is that my dog now looks like she has more energy. She is always ready for a walk, where before she looked tired a lot. I'm confident that the natural ingredient in this product is allowing her to have a healthier diet. I have since recommended this product to other dog owners that I know and I've received similar responses from them. It is an overall great product and very much worth spending the extra money for. When you have a dog that has a lot of sensitivities to a lot of additives that are in most types of dog foods, it is so hard to be able to find something that you can give your dog so that they do not end up having a lot of stomach problems. Our dog ends up throwing up a lot of different foods and it has been so hard to find something for her that causes her to have no issues, but we found it in this. I love that this is made with real lamb and rice, it is not a bunch of slop, it is all natural ingredients that they have put together and that are thought out and great for the health of your pet. This cured all of her stomach issues and she never has problems since she has been on this food. She is older, but now she is running faster, her coat is falling out a lot less and also looks shiny now and so much healthier, and you can just tell that she feels so much better, she acts like she is a puppy again. Quality of Ingredients The quality of these ingredients is above many others and it is great that it is made with real lamb, all natural ingredients are so important to a dog and I am glad because I do not want to feed my dogs a bunch of trash food, this helps to keep everyone happy and healthy.

Eukanuba Natural Lamb & Rice is the highest quality dog food I have ever given my dog. This is the only dog food that doesn't smell like dog food. It has a natural smell and texture that could be mistaken for people food. I would serve my dog this food twice a day and she would always get excited when I opened the bag. While eating this food my dog had lots of energy and a healthy coat. One thing that I noticed about this food is that it produces large solid stools. A single cup of this dog food would produce enough waste for 2 doggy bags. Despite the positives of this food I stopped using it when my dog became sick. There was a recall on this product, but I didn't find out in time. My dog ended up getting diarrhea for several days. It took about 10 days for her to get back to normal. I waited a while for all my local stores to pull the bad batch off the shelves, but during that period I started using another brand and never came back to it.

Eukanuba Natural Lamb and Rice gets high points in our sheltie's book and if she likes it we give it high marks also. Daisy came to live with us when she was five years old. We kept her on the dog food that she was used to but suddenly she started spitting up. A trip to the vet and test gave us the bad news, "cancer". After talking it over we decided to do as the vet suggested and love her and give her the best care that we could give her. The first thing we did was change her to this dog food. Quality of Ingredients The dog food that we had been giving her had corn in it and we were told that corn is hard for dogs to digest. Eukanuba is a all natural lamb and rice formula and does not have a fillers and such. Daisy was now able to eat a normal amount of food and she no longer spit up. She even started to gain a little much needed weight and her coat was shiny and healthy looking. Flavor Selection We only used the lamb and rice formula and I would recommend that everyone use this dog food especially if your dog has a sensitive stomach. When we finally did lose our Daisy, the vet said that she was living proof how good nutrition and loving care had extended her life. She had lived two years more than what he had thought she would.

Before I switched to Blue Buffalo, this was my go to dog food. My dog loved it, and even though it was a little more expensive, it is more of the all natural, more healthy kind of foods. I love this brand, and if I wouldn't have discovered Blue Buffalo, my dog would still be eating this. We get a good deal on it anyway, since the plan is only 30 minutes from where I live. They use all natural ingredients in there food, but not as much as B.B. which is why I switched in the first place. However, this is a little expensive but cheaper than B.B., so if your not willing to fork out that extra cash for B.B. then look no further than this brand of dog food. They have a great, balanced formula for dogs, and I have never had a dog turn it down. All in all, this is a great brand of dog food, and you really cannot go wrong for the price. It is a better, more natural formula than most. Its definitely worth a try if you have never used it.

This dog food has been great for my 9 year old Lhasa Apso. She was having allergy issues and always scratching and itching. She was also getting ear infections with yeast buildup. My vet suggested switching food and she may be having a reaction to the food she was on. He suggested this food. She loves it and her itching and ear issues have nearly stopped. I was worried about switching her food and how her stomach would react, but she did not have any issues with switching and handled it great. I think this food is priced very reasonably priced and is a great product. I would recommend trying this if your dog is having allergy issues, it is well worth it. Quality of Ingredients The ingredients have shown to really help my dog with her allergy issues, and it was really easy on her stomach as well. Flavor Selection My dog seems to love the flavor and did not have any issues with the switch over. She seems to like the flavor more than her old food.

I had a dog for twelve years and it ate the same food for around ten years. When the dog got around ten years old it decided that its body couldnt take that food for what ever reason any more. It would vomit eight out of ten times it ate. I tried a bunch of diffrent foods before I tried eukanuba that did not work. Once she started eating this product she did not throw up anymore and she also would not eat anything else after that. Quality of Ingredients I would say the quality of ingrediants in this dog food are pretty good. After my dog tried it she would not eat anything else. It also did not affect here stomache the same way every other dog food did. My vet told me the rice was better for my dog then a corn based dog food. I did not do any scientific test on the ingredients but based on my dogs reaction to the food I would say the ingredients are pretty good. Flavor Selection I always used the same flavor of this dog food but I do know from the petstore they offer this brand in many diffrent flavors.

My vet originally switched my labrador retriever to this food due to problems with itchy, flaky skin. And my lab absolutely loves the switch. She inhales the food as soon as I pour it into the bowl, and then literally licks the bowl afterward to make sure she hasn't missed a morsel! So I'm assuming the taste must meet with her picky standards! Her skin issues have also cleared quite a bit since changing her to this brand. I've heard lamb and rice is excellent for dogs who have skin allergies, and I definitely agree. My dog doesn't seem to be in such distress any more with itching, which makes me feel better - and which I know makes her feel better too! I've also recently adopted a shar pei mix, and that breed is also prone to skin allergies, so I have him on this food now as well. And he seems quite happy! My only real issue so far has been the cost. It's fairly expensive, especially with 2 dogs, and sometimes I feel like my dogs eat better than I do! LOL!! But my fur babies are worth the cost. Also, the design of the bag recently changed dramatically, and even the name of the food changed slightly, so I had difficulty finding it when I had to purchase more. But once I figured out from reading the ingredients and description which was which, it hasn't been a problem since. Overall, I highly recommend this food.

My dog is the pickiest eater ever, he only likes certain textures and colors of food. I don't know why, but he is so weird when it comes to his food. The first time we tried feeding him Eukanuba dog food was at a friends house. We stayed late and my Sammy got hungry, my friend told me I should let him try it so I did and was surprised, when he ate it all then started sniffing the bag like he wanted more. When I got home I started doing some research on Eukanuba and found so many positive things about that brand, being a high-performance dog food. So needless to say, we now have a new brand for our little man. Quality of Ingredients Eukanuba has a very good rating, they only use the highest grades of meats and veggies for their dog foods. This is a company who puts their customers needs first. My dog loves Eukanuba. Flavor Selection They have so many different flavors, you can let your dog try. My dog seems to like the lamb and rice best though.
