Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser gets face clean.

4

Recently at the dermatologist's office I picked up samples of Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser. They are 0.05 fluid ounce (1.5 ml) sachets. When I was ready for bed I tore off the top of the sachet. Out came a clear liquid/gel. It had no smell to it. I splashed water on my face, and the applied the cleanser. It didn't lather at all. I left it on for a short time, and then rinsed it off, and patted my skin dry. My skin felt fine after using it. I always moisturize my face at night. I liked the fact that it is gentle, with natural licochalcone, and is soap free. I don't have Rosacea, but glad that a product is there, for people who do have it. Effectiveness My skin felt clean. Ease of Application Wet face, apply, rinse, and pat dry. Scent Fragrance free.

I swear by this product - makes my skin look SO much better

I had always had a bit of redness around my nose - you could say I was like Rudolph the reindeer. This cleanser (with the use of the sunscreen) helped get rid of the redness I had and made my skin not only look lighter, but brighter and younger looking. People have noticed a difference and my face looks better than it does with makeup on - I don't even wear makeup on nowadays. This cleanser is great for it's value; it's in a large tube and should last for a good year if you use it once daily. If you have a mild form of Rosacea or just have a little redness on your face in general, then definitely check out this cleanser; I've tried many products and this has finally helped. Scent Unscented.

Helps control my dermatitis; non-irritating. Love it.

The only non-Rx product I've ever found that gets results. Helps calm my dermatitis during eruptions, and actually keeps it at bay when I use every day. I recommended to a friend with rosacea, who also uses it now. Also, you only need a tiny bit at a time, so it lasts a long time. Effectiveness Sometimes it helps redness on the same day, some times it takes a few days if I'm having a bad case, but it's always calming. Ease of Application Goes on easily, rinses off easily. Scent No particular odor. My friend with rosacea gets migraines from strong soap or shampoo fragrances, and this doesn't bother her at all.

This is a good product for facial redness

This is a very good product, unfortunately, recently I have not been able to find Eucerin "redness relief products" in any of the drug stores, I think we need more products for redness relief on the market.

One of the worst "cleansers".

I really wanted to like this after all it seemed great, from a trusted brand Eucerin, for redness, and even removes makeup. However this cleanser missed on everything from the redness to cleansing. I did find however that it did remove my makeup, but not the waterproof kind. I still had to use a separate cleanser afterward to make my skin feel clean, because it still felt grimy. It was gentle, but for me too gentle. It didn't really clean my skin at all even on days when I didn't wear makeup. My skin is severe adult acne, so this is not recommended for people with severe acne. Again no help with the redness. This cleanser reminded me of Origins line for redness/rosacea which also didn't work for me. I washed my face using warm, hot, and cold water (at different times of course) and still my face felt like I just splashed it with water. Overall not happy with this since all it did was help take off my makeup and I will stick with Pond's Cold cream for that.

The only cleanser I'll use. Worth any amount.

Rosacea runs in my family, and as such, I tend to have red skin on my face. It is also becoming more sensitive as I age. Eucering Redness Relief is the only cleanser that has helped to even out my skin tone, without over-drying it. It also does not cause any irritation to my skin, as some high priced products have done. I used to hate to go without makeup, but now I will go without it and not think twice. My skin is calmer. I love the silky feel of it, and I love that I do not have to use much at all with each cleansing. I recommended it to my sister, who has acne and it has helped her skin to clear up a little.

A gentle cleanser that is not just for Rosacea sufferers.

**This product in a nutshell: **is effective and gentle, a hard combo to come by!  As a sufferer of a mild case of rosacea, a face cleanser that does not aggravate my sensitive skin is an essential in my daily skincare regimen.  Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser is a life raft when my face is rashy and red from a rosacea breakout. This product comes in a flip-top bottle and when I squeezed it into my hand for the first time, I have to admit, I was bit put-off by the consistency.  It's a thick jelly that doesn't lather at all even when I added a few drops of water to it.  When applied, there was no initial sting or overpowering smell as this cleanser is soap-free and fragrance-free.  I swirled it all over my face and neck and removed it with a wet, warm (not hot!) washcloth.  When I looked into the mirror, I was astonished by my clean, soft, and un-red face!  Most cleansers made specifically for red or sensitive skin tend to cause me break-outs because they are overly gentle and thus, ineffective in removing oil and makeup.  And acne cleansers or TOO strong...they upset my sensitive skin and cause redness and flakiness.  This wash is the best of both worlds!  When I use it, I know my face is clean and I don't see any dry patches.  Eucerin makes the claim that this face wash improves the condition of visibly red skin after 4 weeks.  While there are other products that I use to treat my red, sensitive skin, I do feel that this ultra-soothing cleanser is the first step towards my goal: to have a less flushed appearance and clean, healthy skin!  It contains natural Licochalcone, which is Licorice Root Extract and known for its skin-soothing properties. **I give this product 5/5 stars: **and if Eucerin ever discontinues the making of this face wash, I will be majorly bummed.  I recommend this product for anyone regardless of skin woes, except maybe those that suffer from cystic acne as it does not contain any salicylic acid.
