Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Plus Intensive Repair Lotion —

I live in upstate New York where the falls and winters are particularly harsh. That cold and wind really wreak havoc on my skin and cause my hands to chap and have overall dryness on my body. My skin is even dry in the spring and summer. A good all weather daily lotion is key to maintain proper skin health and a youthful appearance. After doing some research on what a good lotion should have, I decided on Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Plus Intensive Repair Lotion. This lotion is definitely the answer to very dry skin. I love it!

The Facts

This lotion contains Alpha Hydroxy to exfoliate very dry, flaky skin, and keeps skin moisturized for twenty-four hours. It is non-greasy, fast absorbing and fragrance free. A 16.9 oz. bottle costs around $9.00 and can be purchased at most any grocery or drugstore as well as online.

My Experience

After showering, I grabbed the plastic pump bottle of this lotion and decided to try it. The pump dispenses a controlled amount that allows you to pump just as much as you want. The lotion is white, somewhat thick and mostly true to the claim that it is fragrance free. There is a light scent when it's on your hands, but when applied in a thin layer over the skin, the scent is gone. This is a huge plus, as it doesn't interfere with my perfume.

The lotion went on smooth, absorbed well and there was no greasy feel. My skin was noticeably softer and smoother. My chapped hands looked renewed and moisturized. After a full day of running around doing errands, going in and out of the cold, this lotion kept up with the change in climate and humidity extremely well. At the end of the day, my skin was still as hydrated, soft and healthy as it was when I first put it on.

My Final Viewpoint

Overall, I am extremely pleased with Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Plus Intensive Repair Lotion. It does everything it advertises, and while not cheap, it is worth every penny. It has ingredients found in lotions that are more expensive, has a smooth easy pump, leaves my skin super soft, and moisturized. I recommend it for sure and I am going with an enthusiastic 5 star rating.

I have heard good reviews on this. I think LoveIsJoy even reviewed it. I have very dry skin too and just keep putting hand creams on. I never could find the Nivea hand cream so we settled for the Dove Pro-Age hand cream. I used it at my best friend's last night and it was pretty good. I will probably review it down the road.
