Esurance — 

I have had the same car insurance for years (Progressive) I just was not happy with them any more.  One evening I was watching T.V. and I saw the ad for Esurance it all sounded to good to be true.  I went on line and filled out the questionnaires with in minutes I got an insurance quote.  I was paying $740.00 for 6 months with Progressive.  Esurance I would be paying only $420.00 for 6 months.  The next day I cancel Progressive and signed on with Esurance.  I have saved almost 50% that is a huge savings.  The only down fall with Esurance is that you have to pay 2 months of your car insurance when you sign up.  Other than that I am very happy.

I agree that Progessive is maybe the highest of ALL the major Insurers. They are a ripoff. I went to Geico, they have warranties on new cars included in their policies and are a little more than Esurance, but offer many discounts, are easy to contact, are friendly and will work with you. It was worth it for me to switch from Esurance to Geico as they pride themselves on Customer Service. After price consideration; Customer Service is the most important thing to me....Esuarnce does NOT have good customer service in my opinion and are very slow to respond. Let's just hope you never get in an accident or need to file a claim.
