This is a good product, but has a bit of a learning curve. Once you master the process you realize that you either need an amazingly steady hand, or to purchase the optional guide sold in craft stores. This will allow straight (or curved, depending on your preference) lines of text or clip art. There are three color cartridges (black, green or red) each retailing for about $39.99 (a bit pricey for ink). There is a nice selection of software, but you must purchase each "subject" separately which can get expensive.
It is VERY portable, even when hauling all of the software and spare inks, and has an optional carry case that does a good job of storing everything, including spare batteries.
Cute product, but not inexpensive.
