I have been using the Errin brand mini-pill for about four months. As I am still breast feeding my infant, this low hormone pill has been a safe and effective form of birth control. I make sure to take the pill at the same time everyday, and have found right before bedtime to be the most effective time for me. The pill comes in a 28-day package and there are little strips that have the days of the weeks that you can put above the pills to ensure that you are taking the pill on the right day. As with all prescriptions, make sure to read the instructions for proper usage. One thing that I have learned is that taking antibiotics while taking birth control reduces the effectiveness of the birth control, and backup birth control is needed during that time.  I have had no ill effects from the pill as far as I can tell. I would recommend this pill to women who are looking for an effective form of birth control that won't reduce their milk supply, with a doctor's approval of course.
