As a mom of 7 boys (with another on the way), I've tried quite a few carriers, and none have been comfortable to wear for very long, and never seemed super comfortable for baby either.  I bought this after the birth of my 7th, who was very fussy and always wanted to be carried.  WOW!  The first time I used it, I ventured out to Super WalMart late one night, just me and baby.  I put him in the carrier (on the front, he was a few months old), got a shopping cart, and started going through the store.  Next thing I knew, he was asleep, and I almost forgot he was with me!  He was SO comfortable, and the carrier was so comfortable and natural feeling that I barely noticed him!  I spent HOURS in WalMart - just because I hadn't had this experience in years!  We love this carrier so much that we bought a second one to use with our 2-year-old.  It is just incredible - my niece and I took all my boys hiking up Stone Mountain, each with a child on our back, and had a great time!  We've also gone hiking as a family using the ergos, in addition to just everyday going out.  One of the best things about this carrier is that it is perfect for infants all the way up to preschoolers!  And being able to use it on your front or back just adds to the versatility.  I used to put my fussy little one on my back to make dinner, do household chores, etc, and he was just as happy as can be!  One of the best baby purchases we've ever made.
