Equate Daily Face Wash
There has been a lot of talk lately about cheap face creams vs expensive ones. This is especially due to Avon's commercial about their cream, where they state that a clinical study proved that their cream is better than the one costing $350.
Well, a few weeks ago I was at Wal*Mart looking for a simple face cream to use about once a day to cleanse and maybe add something such as moisturize or clear my face. I found there were more cleansers than I first thought. I found the Clearasil section and looked at their tubes. After a thorough analysis (; I looked down at the price. That is when I noticed the generic Equate version. Right on the bottom left of the tube it says "Compare to Clearasil ingredients" so I did. The two products have the same ingredients, just not the same packaging or price. The packaging may not be the best and sort of boring, but no one will see it in a bathroom cabinet or drawer.
How it Works
I bought the Equate Daily Face Wash for $2.97 and have been using it every day since. I really like how it works. All I have to do is wet my face, apply a quarter size amount of the pearly cream, lather, wait 30 seconds, and rinse away. It can be done over a sink or in the shower. I usually apply the cream, start the shower and rinse off as soon as I get in.
The tag line on the front of the tube says that it "Clears away dirt and oil without overdrying" and that is exactly what it does.
Overall...
So, next time you think you have to spend a lot of money on face creams, think again! I have tried a bunch of face creams but this one is by far my favorite, and the cheapest.
