Epson All- in-One Printer Scanner Reviews

I bought this Epson three-in-one printer scanner copier to replace an inkjet printer that bit the dust.  I had a separate flatbed scanner that was fully functional, but I am limited on desktop space.  The convenience of a 3-in-1 is obvious, and the price was reasonable enough to justify replacing the perfectly good scanner. 

I had good experience with Epson printers over the years, beginning with a superb laser printer back in the "old days".  A previous Epson inkjet printer had been one of the better inkjet printers I had used, and with that older model I had found some good quality no-name...

For years I had a simple Epson printer that came with my first Gateway PC.  It was slow, but reliable.  It even made it through a flood. (No kidding.) It got full of water.  I turned it upside down (outside of course) let it drain, and aired it out on a sunny day.  When I plugged it back in...IT WORKED! 

I've tried one Lexmark.  It lasted only a little over a year.  And there was no generic ink cartridges to be found anywhere.  Expensive!  I went back to Epson.  I found my current one on-line at the Epson Store.  Then I went to "Clearance Center".  I found a refurbished Stylus CX-4800...

I was really impressed with this printer when we got it.  At first, I thought that the price, just under $100 before the discounts and coupons we had, was a bit much, but setting the printer up was easy and fast, and once we started printing, I knew I would never turn back.  The first time I scanned something, I was in HEAVEN - it seriously cannot be easier to scan any document from hard copy into a machine, no matter who you are or what computer you are using.  The only real con I have to say about it is that I really regret not being able to buy the catridges for replacements cheaply enough...

I have an Epson all in one printer/scanner for about 2 years now and I cannot say enough good things about it. It is sturdy, it is reliable and it is worth the money which by the way isn't much. I had a Lexmark before and let me tell you that is the biggest joke on earth for printing. The Epson 4800 has never failed me. The ink cartridges do matter however,  you MUST buy Epson ink, I had used a refurbished ink that fit my printer and it exploded all over inside. However, once I got it all cleaned up, put the Epson ink in it, no problems at ALL. All the functions work, I use it as a copier and...

I bought my epson Stylus all-in-one after my I bought a new computer and the old dell was not vista compatible.

I find the printer easy to use, easy to figure out, and good quality printer.

It prints decent pics (not lab quality, but good in a pinch). The color inks are individual carts not all in one. So you KNOW that your color is out when you replace it.

 I would recommend it because it is easy to use, and not too expensive.
