I was really impressed with this printer when we got it. At first, I thought that the price, just under $100 before the discounts and coupons we had, was a bit much, but setting the printer up was easy and fast, and once we started printing, I knew I would never turn back. The first time I scanned something, I was in HEAVEN - it seriously cannot be easier to scan any document from hard copy into a machine, no matter who you are or what computer you are using. The only real con I have to say about it is that I really regret not being able to buy the catridges for replacements cheaply enough anywhere and I REALLY dislike the fact that you can't print anything once ONE catridge runs out. Despite all of that, there are ways to get coupons for ink refills, and even if there isn't, it's a fair enough trade for the top-quality pictures and documents that the machine prints. The pictures it prints - from any sort of media imaginable, either directly from one's camera via USB cords, the camera's own memory card, or from the hard drive of one's own computer - are even better than the pictures TAKEN with the camera, and the paper required is not expensive at all. It's a good machine, despite its setbacks.
