This is a great site to connect with the over- 50 crowd.  I've made contact with several folks who share my interests  from all over the USA.  There are articles to read on various topics, games to play --for the single player or multiple player, various groups to join to share thoughts, and ideas,recipes, hobbies, etc., and opportunities to design one's own profile page in word and pictures.  Badges of friendship can be earned and gifts can be given to other members onsite.  It's fun and interesting.  A great way to make our world smaller and more cohesive by… read full review »

EONS IS A GREAT SITE FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE 50+. THE PEOPLE THERE ARE VERY FRIENDLY. A LOT OF THEM ARE VERY FUNNY TOO. I HAVE MADE LOTS OF FRIENDS THERE. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO TO FIND FRIENDS THAT YOU HAVE THINGS IN COMMON WITH. THEY CRY WITH YOU, TELL YOU JOKES, MAKE YOU LAUGH A LOT. IT IS VERY INFORMATIVE ON ALL KINDS OF SUBJECTS. Eons, a social website, was a pleasant place to be last year (2007). I really enjoyed the groups I joined, and participated in the movie reviews, obits, games and other items they offered. They did not offer any real privacy, and I understood that wondering why anyone pre-50 would be interested in us old foggies. They did not protect copyrights, so I didn't submit anything on-line that I wanted protected.
